I have been a fan of you since post-MCO and watching your video (especially the ASKING SEAN series) has been helpful in growing my common knowledge since 2021 (and thanks for helping me solve my concerns that time as well) And yeah, I like that kitchen cabinet extension for microwave ovens and air fryers! I even get my mum to watch that for our upcoming renovation ideas as well. Please do more of renovation ideas content as well from time to time. I bet it will help a lot of people as well. Thank you for always being here for more content sharing!

I’m an architect. Instead of describing the wiring and brackets sticked out on the wall, we usually use the professional term of “how to conceal the exposed conduit on walls”. There are two ways of fixing this issue - 1) if the wall is partition wall, you could take out the lining and run the cable through the cavity then re-line the plasterboard wall & 2) install small furring channels along the existing walls then lined with any wall material you like.

Lol. Normal people will not understand hahahaha. But thanks for sharing. Unfortunately it’s difficult to differentiate between brick wall and concrete wall, so it’s easier to just have a blanket term of “no hacking”.

Hi Sean, i love your idea of the manual operated laundry hanger, suitable for old folks that are not tech savy with remote control/panel. Would you mind share the brand & model that you used. thx appreciate it.

Hi Sean, I’m into feng shui and just wanna share..the common toilet is badly placed in the middle of the whole apartment. By sharing your dining area/table with the toilet bowl is a no, no. Eating next to the toilet bowl doesn’t give u good health and prosperity. In fengshui, that toilet wall is just a visible concrete that doesn’t alter the negative effects of a toilet bowl. In any house, a kitchen’s stove top mustn’t share wall with a toilet bowl too. The same goes for a bed position. Looking at the floor plan the bedroom 2 is well positioned with better fengshui. Bedroom 3 is weak in fengshui being smacked in between 2 bathrooms and the poor bed positioning. Hope this helps..

Thanks but cannot do much. This is the most efficient format of bathroom for most of the apartments in Malaysia. Yupe. Bedroom 2 is the best position so far for the unit, that’s why I work there:)

Not looking to win the voucher, but this episode really is helping me to renovate my own house. Please make more episodes like this where you breakdown the renovation elements with its costs. Really appreciate the episode. thanks man.

Hey Sean, thanks for sharing. I have a few questions listed as below: 1. Could you make a playlist for this? I cant find the previous episodes 2. Is the makeover guys a good benchmark to be used of cost comparison? 3. Can I use this cost that you're sharing as a benchmark for a landed property?
@iherngКүн бұрын
1. Let me setup the playlist 2. Yes. But gotta be careful when others are too cheap because renovation scams are pretty common nowadays unfortunately:/ 3. Nope. Cost of renovation for landed homes are different due to the area. RM100k will be nothing for a landed home hahahaa:)

Great video that talk about how important is the thought process that should actually even start before going into discussion with designer. Observing own living habit, know what u need, record down, would expedite the discussion process. Nowadays the space of house is getting smaller, yea every tiny space count! I like how designer ask the purposeof each space, instead of pushing on the standard cabinet style

Sean, can i know whether makeover guys consider just makeover a room?

I'm not too sure about that. You can always reach out to the team:)

Great video! My place is 2028 story so sadly the contest is not relevant for me 😂 I like the "no dining table, no TV console" concept, something I had in mind as well but somewhat unpopular, so rarely get to see someone else do the same thing. I like how the "island" is hollow at the bottom when many would turn it into a storage space, which makes it super uncomfortable since there will be little legroom. Will be no sofas as well? Where would you sit and chill? Hope there will be another one where everything is done. Would like to see how the office turns out. I suppose the table will be in the middle as per the plan, as opposed to one that is facing the wall or the window since that will mean you will not be in the command position?

Hi..as an outstation owner can we appoint them for defect inspection after VP prior to renovation?
@iherng21 сағат бұрын
It can be part of the package when owners appoint them. They helped me with my defects:)

Hi Sean, do u know whether TheMakeoverGuy accept small project eg. Wardrobe only? Or they only do fully furnish request?
@iherng6 сағат бұрын
That one I think a little too small, I think engaging an individual trade contractor or vendor would be more cost efficient.
