Wow this is the firts time I see an actor who plays as manager/CEO/etc. look really mature and the acting looks really natural! I've been trying to avoid this "employed-CEO romance" because most of the times looks really unnatural They just try to potrait a "manly guy" and I don't belive anything (and most of the times look very cringe) but here It's totally different!! @@JustThai_BoysLove actually not, I've been watching bl for years now. That's why I say I try to avoid this "employee/CEO romance" because I've already watched many and It's mostly all the same. The CEO being "manly and possessive" and the employee can be the "shy one" or the "rebel one". That's why I said here the actor looks really natural and not forced, like most thai bl... It's my opinion, of course you can see them different

I was waiting for it since the pilot was aired ... the first 5 minutes captured me completely in a positive way ... I like well scripted stories, a little drama - but a happy ending office romance always lightens up my working life. .. I'm adding STEP BY STEP to this collection: A Boss And A Babe, New Employee, Cherry Magic (here I'm waiting for the Thai remake)... I'm waiting for the already legendary words: THIS IS MY OW PLACE... hopefully they made it into the series (I've watched it in the pilot)...

a boss and a babe was actually announced later than this series. its just that gmmtv has more money and influence to jump start their projects earlier than other production houses. but yeah, i think both the shows will have their own essence and im looking forward to step by step!

I have watched the first 4 episodes.. and so far so good… I really like it… I hate having to wait a week for next episodes with English subs… I just wish I could binge watch it… I normally don’t do fluffy BLs but this one so far has just enough “spark” to keep us that likes a little more heat in our BLs happy… can’t wait to see more… just not happy I only get one episode a week.

I think that some of the actors are either not very good, or that the Director and script writer are lacking. The plot of the overworked rookie is just so over the top. GMMTV have covered a similar story in their brilliant "A Boss and a Babe", but the contrast in the fantastic skills and compatibility of the actors couldn't be greater. I know that my comments will be seen as negative, but I genuinely believe if those involved could look at "A Boss and a Babe" they would maybe see some truth in my comments and not try to shoot the messenger. This could lead to better future productions maybe?

Also, as I write this all of our skyy 2 has not yet been released but so far they’ve had time travel and alternate reality but somehow our skyy 2 boss and babe is on track to be the most unrealistic, illogical and worst one yet. A boss and babe needs to take tips from here on how to portray an appropriate and maybe reasonable workplace romance.

I can't believe that already in Episode 1 I would dislike PAT (acted by BEN Bunyapol) so much...!!! 🙄😞😂😂😂😂 PAT has great principles but NON ability to live up to then in the office amount his colleagues. PAT has no manners at all (these have to be fully listed... but let's talk about the 3 biggest ones): - Invited JENG to a hot chocolate and let him pay for it in the end...? 😵‍💫 - Speaking over the phone with his open mouth full of a steamed bun... 🤢 - Gossiping to JENG (a stranger) about the new manager at the office. (I disliked this one the most) 😒 WTD kid...?? And on top of all that that face he makes all the time... like he has eaten something very bitter... 😴😴😴 Anyway... PAT is the first Thai BL character I can barely stand in an opening Episode. 😂😂😂 Is that good or bad.... 🤨🤔 We will see next week. I was originally wondering about the age difference in this Series, but that is not really an issue here since their age difference gap is not that long at all. And also JENG position in the company is lower that I was expecting it to be: just a digital marketing manager. BUT nevertheless the boss employee relationship remains the same as "A Boss and a Babe". Altogether the opening Episode was fine... with the comedy elements practically in sitcom modus. The "love at first sight" from PAT's side seemed too superficial to me... so it is actually more a "WOW... he is so handsome" moment... where the general looks and impression influence his reaction. Talking about it so intensively with his friends felt more like a stalking situation.... specially since he did not introduce himself, nor asked JENG about his name either when he had the opportunity to do so. Instead he just spoke a lot of nonsense. THIS last characteristic of PAT could be added to his list of bad manners... 😂😂😂 Now... to the basic standards of any BL production: 1 - Chemistry...? NOT really available in this opening Episode for me. 2 - Acting: They all kind of fulfill their roles as the producers wanted them to be, so this one is fine.... but PAT feels too overacted to me. Sometimes he is like a caricature taken out of an anime... and not a natural human being. 3 - Script: Humm... There are interesting social critic parts, like the seniority issue in the company, which is OBSOLETE in Thailand nowadays. The ranking in the hierarchy is what establishes the relationships between the employees and not the seniority. No matter who old someone is what matters are their achievements. The friendship storyline is also interesting and will mark the development of the entire Series. 4 - Soundtrack: Oh... I just can't remember any scene where the soundtrack was of any use. 5 - Cinematography: Really good for an office production. So... I will stop here and wait for the next Episodes to check up if my first impression changes over time, or if all remains just the same as today. (19.04.2023) Cheers...!

i love pat though....this is a series that openly shows how hard it will be to work as a newbie rather than any other series where its just flirting eating and sleeping.....i really like pat and feels pity for him cause he does not get the appreciation he deserves...........and i dont see any specific bad behaviour from his side..he is just like any newbie trying his hard to make the ends meet and ...they have very realistic chemistry between them . where as a manager he points out his team members mistake and where as a newbie pat gets frustrated annoyed and sad..not every series has to get a flirty chemistry from the start...thats the series called STEP BY STEP.....this series is more realistic unlike any others out there....no one over acts in this series...its just the frustration that anyone would have in a situation where they are misunderstood and under appreciated . this is just my opinion...i respect yours but its just that your remark doesnt make any sense to me
