I have been looking at videos like this for the last 3 years... knowing I would do this some day... I "Flip" RVs... and finishing up my last 3 in the next 3 weeks... This is my Number 16th and 17th RV and since I'm 68... I hope my last ones... (I doubt that after looking at this video ...LOL) BUT... What I wanted to say... is THIS Video is the very BEST out of all the hundreds I have watched in the last 3 years... LOVE this method... and the White and Gold is so Classy. Thank you for sharing this video and when I do the floors to my BIG RV in the next 3 weeks I'll let you know how it worked out...and the Countertops... and I also am doing the Shower... (long Story) but it can be done... tricky... but it can be done..

Very nice,one question though,is the white paint water based as the rustoliun is oil so the two cannot mix,new to this so hope my question is not stupid.
@ArtistTillDeath6 жыл бұрын
Hello David, no question is stupid and we are only too happy to help. I don't know if the rustoleum is completely oil based - but it usually works the best for us. Yes, the white paint is an acrylic. Technically I am not mixing the two together - i'm mixing each with resin (separately) and the resin kind of acts as a barrier between the two. I don't know if that makes sense, but I can go into further detail if you like :)

This is the first video ive watched from you guys. I like the artistic touch that you guys do that I can incorporate into my business. Try adding clear epoxy in a syringe and drizzle it out on top of the gold after your done making your veins, and have allowed epoxy to set for about 40 min. It adds depth to each vein. Just be sure to clean the syringe when your done.

Your work is beautiful!😍 I've seen other methods where a feather is used for veining. Do you think the effect can be achieved by placing the darker color on the feather and moving it through the resin, or by adding the paint to the piece first and then using the feather to fan the paint out? Thank you, and thanks for the video!

Also, most of our products are indoors and out of direct sunlight so it’s chances of yellowing is greatly diminished.
