I've got product coming out of the breather plug in the hydraulic motor adapter...but no product coming out of any tell-tale hole on the pump or anywhere else

I have a chance of picking up a smaller Edwards Speedivac 2, single stage, sliding vane vacuum pump. Will these pump work for HVAC applications for vacuuming refrigerant out of home central ac systems?

We can’t speak for the pumps you mentioned, but our SGL Blackmer pumps are used for Refrigerants - MF/TA/TMS/TF in HVAC applications. The SGL pump is built very similarly to our STXD2-DEF pump as shown in this video. Hello sir gud afternoon..very nice video..sir I have doubt in my mine! When you fixed the locknut washer and you tighten the locknut. I see the locknut washer loosen..for me I think this can creates a problem with the pump

Per the IOM for this pump "To check adjustment, grasp the nut and washer with fingers and rotate back and forth. If this cannot be done, one or both locknuts are too tight and should be alternately loosened one stop at a time (.001")"

The locknut washer can move a short distance because the tab that goes into the slot on the shaft isn't a tight fit and can move some. This is normal.

Unreliable, badly designed pump. Seals give up for no reason and that terrible retaining ring/lock nut assembly comes loose destroying the shaft thread, rendering the whole pump junk.. apart from the ridiculous cost of the seals
