This chick is amazing! She's definitely working with a hefty budget for these plants, and it's nice to see how the pros think through problems.

I've just discovered a true love of succulents and needed guidance so I got on KZbin and started nosing around and found Laura Eubanks. Fantastic teacher. The bonus was at the end when she said 'peace out'. That is what I say whenever I'm suppose to say goodbye. I'm hooked. Yes, she had me at 'peace out'. I'm looking forward to learning more from this channel. I live in southwest Missouri, zone 6, so I'll need to modify. Thank you and peace out.

I'm having trouble sleeping tonight and I find your garden artwork so relaxing. It's 1:30 am here in the outskirts of Paris, France. I live in a river valley and La Jolla and here: no 2 gardens could be more different. I put in a few hours of gardening this afternoon to deadhead my rose bushes n provide support for my peones. We're having wonderful weather after a very rainy Spring. There's an undescribable fragance in the air. Isn't it wonderful that Nature provides beauty in such different places? Thanks for sharing your talent n bonjour to your team mates.

thank you Laura and family for giving us all a wonderful video on what we all can do to make this time better! You are a great inspiration to thousands around the world and here at home in So Cal! I am working on restoring my office after having to vacate everything for new carpet installation. Haven't touch anything since my official retirement in 2017 and it is a mess going though all the files, drawings, etc from my last 25 plus years of work. Your video gave me a rest and inspiration to go outside and work on my new succulent beds/mounds that you have helped to create in all ours years together! I wish you the best in health and workman comps to help recover soon from this critical time! Hugs and kisses to you all!!

You crack me up! I'm not ready for my rocks to be added but I absolutely loved when you said doing the little rock work was good for OCD. I've been painting the fence in front before finishing the job and hubs says it is well done and I don't have to paint in between every crevice of wood because it can't be seen. But it can if you look closely so I spent 4 extra hours doing every piece of wood while he watched tv. Guess I am OCD.

Your so lucky to have that climate. I live in Michigan and I have a xeric bed I work with. The spring rains make it difficult to grow many species. Plus it gets cold. However with slight berms and trial and error I have had some success. I work in sedums, sempervivium, and a few perenials for color. Tried cactus but it's just too wet for the small berms I can make in small area.

***2 Questions***: 1) Do gophers like the roots on succulents or do they shy away from them. Hubby's convinced we'd need gopher-hardware-barrier. Thoughts?. 2) Do you ever put weed-barrier below the rocks so weeds don't pop up around it? Thanks!! 🤗
@LauraEubanks6 жыл бұрын
Sylvia gophers can and will eat the roots. Luckily, succulents don’t need roots to survive! Weed barrier is a pain in the butt. Stay on top of weeds and you shouldn’t have any worries💕
