My dad married a woman when I was a teenager. She was wonderful! She loved me . Sadly she died. But before her death she became great friends with my mother. She had a huge heart. Always doing for others. The problem came in when her daughter who didn’t live with her and my father until she was 15 and had a new baby. She was raised by my stepmother s grandmother. And when she got pregnant the grandmother said she was just not up to raising another child. My stepmom was a good mother it was just that after she divorced her first husband she and her daughter went to live with her grandmother. And when she married my father the little girl didn’t want to come live with them. She went between her biological fathers parents and my stepmom s grandparents. I am my fathers only child and I spent time with my dad and step mom. Her daughter was never there. My father was just not her father or even a step father. He was not involved in her life. Even when she moved in with my dad and stepmom at 15 with her new baby my dad would work till 8 pm and was just not into family things. Then over the next 10 year she had 3 more babies. All 4 kids were by different men. I had my own troubles. I divorced two times. I have 2 daughters. I put myself through school and bought a home and never asked my father for anything l am pretty self sufficient. Finally I marriage my forever husband and we have have 20 wonderful years together. He is my best friend. So now that my step mother died this step daughter lived with my father for years. Many said they had something going on. She has done everything she could to keep me and my 2 daughters out of my father’s life. She has taken over my fathers life. But he has allowed it. Now at age 50 she calls my father her dad. And insist her 4 illegitimate children are his grandchildren. The sad thing is everyone thinks she’s his daughter. And I don’t exist. It’s going to be very sad for her if my father dies before me. Because I’m freezing his estate. And I will tie it up for years if I can. She’s not stealing my and my children’s inheritance. If I have to fight her on my death bed I will. And my children know if I die to sue their grandfather estate for their rightful inheritance. See for me I have done well in life. I don’t need the money. But it’s the principle of it. I enjoyed the young girl's acting but the ending was a bit unsatisfactory to me. I mean what was the motive of her seducing the stepdad and got herself pregnant at the age of 18+.. Does this mean he hv to bear the child support? She will lose her freedom and bear the consequences. She doesn't seem to hv any kind of lovey feelings for him. I would personally intepret the story like :- She got through a rough breakup. Her bf cheated on her, made her move out and she had no choice but to move back in with her mother. During this time, her mom was too busy dating to care for her that she felt neglected & lonely. Being rebellious at a young age, she decided to hatch an evil scheme. You see, she now lost her trust in men. Especially when she even mentioned her own dad left her. She wanted to prove all men are cheaters and plot revenge. She tried seducing the step father and he eventually succumb to the temptation. This could also be a test to protect her mother from an unfaithful man. But she does not get pregnant (maybe taking pregnancy pills as a preventive measures) That pregnancy test was fake and she purposely plant it there for her mother to find it while doing laundry. Therefore, now both mother & step father broke up. The daughter thinks she is being smart. After he left, then she will tell her mom the truth. The mom might not be able to forgive her and maybe kick her out of the house as well. But she's alrdy 18 and able to live independently. She don't mind about that. Her relationship with mom may be over and jeopardize but at least she felt accomplished. This maybe the way she heal herself. She might hate men forever or after this phase is over, she will change her mindset and start a new life & afresh.
