Since you stopped on that and were wondering, the bit with Alpha Heather "making a voice" while saying "let your mommy fix you a snack" was because she was mocking Veronica. She was doing a childish voice to mock her while going "Oh, do you want your mommy to make you snacks?". Even nice Heather puts on a slightly less pronounced voice like that later, on "maybe sesame street is on". Its more clear in the context of the song as a whole, because that's the pattern of the verses; "(mockingly) Do you wanna go back to doing childish things with your old friend (and be a loser), Or do you wanna do what you need to and be cool like us?", essentially. Edit: Called out 😂 ok, reached the end of the video and saw you figure it out, in my defense, this is the first time I see someone actually catch the missed detail later 😂

(at 20:30 you realise you were wrong lol) Noticed you were connecting bread with money and were analysing into that, but the reason for the way she says it is to make fun of Veronica like baby-talk. Also why they reference Sesame Street - saying she should stop being a baby and naive to think she can be friends with Martha Dunstock. Vocally Heather Mac takes the top Soprano note and Heather Duke takes the alto. Showing that Mac is bubbly and sweet (high pitch) and Duke is lower down, because she's pushed away by Heather Chandler a lot. Heather Duke doesn't get to stand out or be the main Heather, which is also why (in the original) she didn't get her own solo song. This was changed in the UK revival... I disagreed with it personally cuz it fit her character so well not to have a solo. Love how you analyse the animatic too, it's super fun, because whether it's "right" in the sense that the animator thought of it that way or not -- it's very accurate to the characters.(at 20:30 you realise you were wrong lol) You haven't done "Fight for Me" yet, which I am pretty sure is before this song - but the "gang vocals" are pretty fun at the start of it

I’m not gonna pretend I know loads about Heathers, even though some of its songs are some of my favourites. However, a song not in the official Broadway (I believe) is imo really good. I don't know if I should say the title here though, the acronym is IWNSUA, as it might be considered a spoiler. I'd also like to point out ( I don't think you have yet ) that the Heather's voices are very distinct. Other Heather's voice is a bit louder and b-tchy which fits her personality of being on the side and wanting to be in the spotlight of main b!tch. Nice Heather's voice is more bubbly !! :D while Alpha Heather's voice is a bit low but still has this loudness to it which sounds more evil and manipulative to me.
