I had skipped the intro to your video but as soon as I saw the walkthrough I knew that it was a First Texas Homes floor plan. I live here in DFW and so I’m very familiar with their homes. I had to rewind to the beginning to make sure I was right. They are all over the neighborhood I live in. Congratulations on closing. You’ll have a lot of fun decorating.

Love you home! Praise God for a quality builder with a beautiful home! Our homes are very similar but your home is executed in the more luxurious manner & our home is smaller at 5,000 sqft. Unfortunately our “luxury” builder was subpar but they we manage to charge our luxury prices! So we have to fix all the issues they have not fixed after a year! Congratulations! 🙏🏾💕💕

Yeah their prices is just crazy right now and they keep increasing everyday 🤦🏾‍♀️ 5Months into signing our contract they added 27K to our home price saying material prices have gone up and since our contract permitted it we didn’t have a choice but to accept the increase cuz we weren’t about to loose our home.

I don’t think I’d put carpet anywhere. I have allergies. Lol I like the marble tiled floors everywhere else. I love that kitchen! I love the large separated sinks, the standalone tub, and shower in the master. But can I ask about the stacked windows with window sills in the living room? Are they designed to put things on the ledges for each window? And are you having ceiling to floor drapes or each window will have their own curtain? And the back yard being sloped… will that be leveled out? Can’t wait to see the decor and changed you stated. Very nice home!!

I agree, I don’t like carpet either because no matter how much you vacuum, there is still a ton of disgusting stuff left behind on the carpet pad underneath. It’s a huge and beautiful home and I’d definitely change out the some of the light fixtures and the change the shower doors to frameless and change out some of the grey bathroom tile. I actually don’t like it when the marble countertops and backsplash are the same, I prefer a nice luxury look tile for the backsplash. I’m a bit of an introvert and would have to have a lot more space between me and my neighbors so I don’t feel like they are on top of me and definitely so that can’t see me in my backyard from their second story windows. I have to have space which includes parking spaces for entertainment. That staircase is to die for and absolutely stunning.

Well I am not comfortable sharing that details but if you are having thesame house built then you should know the square footage. Anyways we added some square footage to our home by upgrading & Increasing the size of some rooms to accommodate our needs e.g our master bathroom, our patio & we added a bathroom upstairs.

Well I am talking to quite a few of them right now but some are twice as expensive. The cheapest I got for both the fireplace and backsplash is 15K with “Skyline Countertops”
