Honestly, Terra1912 has to be one of the greatest minecraft servers of all time. It's so beautiful, it's so vibrant... It brings both the past to life and unbuilt/lost architecture back to the mainstream in what would have been its glory days. Hats off to all the builders, and thanks for this amazing project.

Man, the progress on those medieval Paris churches is insane. I've been excited to see the progress on those and it did not disappoint. Best version of Notre-Dame I've seen too, and that's a tight contest. Amazing stuff all around in general.

God damnnn, these look awsome! I've been building my own 1910s city for over 2 years now (In survival). But ofc this is way more big of a project than mine XD I'm quite sad that only now, I found ur channel again. I have a questions tho, do these buildings have interiors tho? And how big is the tram network?

I don't think that flag was meant to be the european union flag, It might be a yellow flor-de-lis on a blue background. Although that color pattern remotes to french nobility, in Florence it was usually white and red (except the medici family crest). Amazing video, can't wait for the next 5 years!

The architecture is so beautiful, but I have a small question. In previous videos, I saw quite a few rural estates, but during the visit, I couldn't find them. Are they not open for tours?
@AkiraBuilds7 күн бұрын
only a select few locations are open for visitors on open day events. its up to each induvidual builder what they want to be open. new locations may be open next time

If you want the extremely long render distances without lag, try using Distant Horizons instead! Much like bobby, it lets you see beyond your render distance, but instead of just loading the chunks as is it somewhat reduces the details of blocks that are very far away and stores the chunks in a compressed mesh format. The downside is of course that if you zoom in as far as you can you'll see that the far away blocks don't have many details (a bit like concrete), but the upside is that you can have utterly absurd render distances with next to no lag. I'm sitting here playing a full 300 mod modpack on a meh laptop and despite having the equivalent of a 128 chunk render distance I'm still getting 30 fps. A computer like yours could easily be rocking several hundred chunk distances without breaking a sweat. There's some pictures on the mod page of them even doing 1024 chunk render distances, which is over 16000 blocks.
@WBCBuilds8 күн бұрын
we don't opt for it because all of our builds contain debugged blocks which do not appear when in distant horrizons so looses a lot of what the building is meant to be. I'm very happy with the performance I get with the bobby mod

@@WBCBuilds Ah I see, I can tell there's a bit of funky stuff going on but I'm nowhere near experienced enough with your building techniques to tell how you make some of these things, and you clearly have the hardware not to care much :P. Very cool builds in any case! I'm especially a fan of your clearly early 20th century London inspired Whiteburg City, which is possibly my favourite setting for a build.
