The fact that the AL HR record holder still looks at other players in the league as references to improve his own game shows the astounding humility. ALL RISE!

This was a fantastic segment! We need more of this - opens up the mind of the hitter but also, gets them loose and talking about what they are good at and passionate about so we see more personality shine through. I'd try doing these segments with every superstar over the first few months of the season. Could have Pena do them with some of the Latin players all in Spanish and just put subtitles for it. Interpreters are great for an interview, but just getting in their head and seeing their personality, I'd rather they just do the whole thing in Spanish.

All respect to Judge and the transformation of his game through hard work. He had a lot of strikeouts despite his power numbers earlier in his career. Some credit has to be given to Teacherman and the other coaches for refining the HLP swing.

8:57 this is really good...even off the machine you can get a ball you are not fully ready for, and you just don't swing at it...hands in a good position mitigates this.

"GAME SPEEDIN UP HARRY" , don't be bitter you had the wrong understanding lol for first half of the video Harry is trying to throw little low-keys and Aaron is just shutting him down😂 that man teacherman is correct. Pushing, swinging down, ALL OF IT, the way you've explained things, and understood them- is not the best way, or the way the best are playing. He's standing in the flesh, explaining how it's done, and the bitterness and unwillingness for human to just say "oh wow Im wrong" is too much. It's fascinating really.

Simplify the swing. Nice. Why is Reynolds so afraid of getting hit in the cage? A former MLB player should know how to avoid injury in soft toss BP.
@gaylefriedman3773 Жыл бұрын
Cause it hurts with a Baseball going 80 MPH without any protection.
@jordangreene8325 Жыл бұрын
@@gaylefriedman3773 That is true. They both have played at the highest level and are incredibly skilled. 1000s of hours in the batting cage, little league, HS, college, minors, MLB with the key BP rule to avoid injury. As they are both professionals, Judge would never swing at a pitch that would injury Reynolds and Reynolds knows to not put himself in harm's way or throw from an angle to get hit. Maybe he is just playing up for the tv audience.
