Why "Lumina Blanca" ? 👇🏻
The name itself tells the story of the house. "Lumina" comes from Latin, meaning light. It’s not just about brightness, but how natural light fills and flows through every corner, creating a space that feels alive and ever-changing with the time of day. The house is designed to capture light from all angles, making it a central element of the experience.
"Blanca", from Spanish, means white. It symbolizes the purity and simplicity that the house embodies. The white facade reflects calmness and serenity, while the minimalist interior enhances the feeling of openness and clarity, creating a blank canvas where light and life take center stage.
The name "Lumina Blanca" perfectly captures the harmony between light and simplicity, making this home a tranquil retreat where each moment feels balanced and peaceful.

This minimalist house prizes simplicity, with its straight lines the white facade of the house floats over gardens that can follow the natural landscape of the lot or can be created to give that impression of lightness to the volume of the first floor of the house.
The house uses white to stand out against nature or the neighborhood, a noble color that brings lightness to the eye. The house becomes a blank canvas to live various moments and stories, so that the house can become a home.
For interior design, we follow the idea of minimalism, less is more! We use only what is necessary with simplicity, sobriety, and without exaggeration. This set of virtues sums up minimalist architecture. A house with a minimalist decor requires a meticulous attention to the choice of each element, which brings beauty to the environment.
Inside this two-bedroom house we have a contemplative garden. For this we used some strategies to transform this small environment into a place of peace. We have an infinity pool that follows the level of the house, where it will become a waterfall for the garden. The sound of the waterfall brings peace and tranquility to the rooms of the house.
The tree brings shade and freshness to the garden and we can only see the top of it in the social environment of the house (living rooms), a perfect place to place a wind chime.
But this garden design is not only contemplative, it is an essential part for the temperature control of the house, the combination of the tree and the pool brings a lot of freshness to the interior of the integrated living room. In this garden the wind passes through the tree and the pool and enters through the large sliding doors in the integrated room, bringing fresh and humid air.
This modern architecture was all planned to create spaces with plenty of natural light and ventilation to the interior. We used 2 strategies to achieve this:
✔ 2-skin facade hides the windows and also helps to control the temperature inside the house.
✔ Winter gardens, several rooms in the house have windows facing winter gardens, this ensures privacy and natural ventilation and lighting for the rooms.
This family home reveals a silence that reflects on people with quiet and discreet personalities.
