as a GT main, i loved this video. i watched all of GT (and Super) last summer. i loved how GT continued the original story of what Dragon Ball was: "an adventure to find magical wish granting orbs. with challenges and obstacles that will be tackled with martial arts and supernatural abilities. full of action, adventure and comedy" and GT delivered with that. sure, the first arc was very rough, but it wasn't bad. in Dragon Ball, we followed the crew through Earth to find the Dragon Balls. in Z, we went to an entirely different planet home to the race responsible for making Dragon Balls. and in GT, we toured through the entire universe from planet to planet. i liked Goku taking on a student and training Uub. though i wish we got to see more of the student-master development as well as Uub's training. i liked seeing Trunks and Goten bloom into their own characters with their own personalities. showing us how far they have progressed from the kids that almost saved the world. its a shame that we didn't get to see Adult Gotenks at all. Super Saiyan 4 is an amazing form both aesthetically and lorewise. tying into the Saiyan's history and combining the long forgotten Great Ape form with Super Saiyan was amazing. GT had a lot of good ideas that i wish they went more into. i won't lie, a lot of things with GT made me raise an eyebrow -why were the Black Star Dragon Balls active to begin with? yes, Piccolo and Kami fused back together, but this Nameless Namekian is a Warrior Clan not a Dragon Clan Namekian. so how are the Black Star Dragon Balls even active? -why didn't they have Goku go into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for a couple days? in the Buu Saga we saw the Hyperbolic Time Chamber was upgraded. it could hold 4 people. assuming it was upgraded just like the one in Super was, if Goku stayed in there until the ship was ready, he would be somewhat older and also stronger right? -why did they make Gohan lose his Ultimate Form? why did they make Trunks cross dress when they could've fought the catfish and easily beat him? -how did Gero and Myuu build Hell 17 to not only be identical to the original 17 but also affect him from Hell? -why didn't the rest of the Z Fighters go to help out against the Shadow Dragons? why was only Pan allowed to go? like you said, GT had a lot of good concepts but also very poor execution. it felt like it was made by a team of Dragon Ball fans that didn't fully understand the series.

I love gt most ppl hate on it cuz of the story but i wasn’t really worried about it until i got to the baby saga that see them trying to go back to the original story about SSJ forms that made me like it and see broly and Bardock can go them forms that just the best thing I saw soo I give GT 8/10 show love the villains too

I’ve always enjoyed GT more than super as far as the story it was just poorly executed. All the villains make sense and even the SSJ4’s concept makes more sense imo than god ki. That’s just me. Pays good homage to the original dragon ball series with goku getting his tail, but with it being non canon it just kinda flopped.

Same as everyone else, great concepts but terrible execution Even Uub reuniting with chungus was a cool idea, they just foddered him immediately which in itself made no sense but we can say that for most things in it lol. Gave great concepts that the games have enhanced tremendously so im all for it, just like super
