You are that free now. I would not recommend it, but you are that free. However, ponder this... given your new information of how free you are what are you going to do with it? Continue life the way you have, or will you take a leap and shoot for the moon? Even if you miss you get the stars. If you won't, maybe you don't deserve the freedom you have and should give up, there is surely someone with ambitions for good waiting for their chance. @@TheCort1971 I’m agreeing with him though. I don’t think what that guy did was courageous he was just so mentally disturbed he made a crazy decision. He even said he wasn’t all there. He just snapped. It’s more so just unfortunate than Heroic. You don’t call things like this heroic because other mentally disturbed people may be more willing to do the same thing and it may end worse. It’s irresponsible to say it’s heroic.

It's sick how this guy goes out without harming anyone yet it doesn't make news because they don't want people realizing they don't have to be in despair like our owners count on, That you can escape their leash, if but for a day.

I have to say I never heard of this story until recently (week or so ago). It's mid July 2022 and I've heard the ATC recordings and the live chatter when it happened and he just jumped in line to take off. Of all the videos and recordings I had the same assessment of this guy. Richard seemed like a humorous guy, but you could definitely hear the dark tones but you'd never probably think that someone would kill themselves. We all have our demons. We all try and deal with it their own way. He didn't just have a beautiful life with a happy marriage and job etc. I would like to challenge the notion he just got up one day and then did this. He definitely planned it. He also trained himself as the guy says. So I'd like to think he was walling up and was focused on the task at hand. It's scary to think anyone could or would do this. Someone you know may be having issues. It's so much better to look like an @ss asking that person if they need help. Rather than just live knowing you missed the signs. Suicide is not a option, please seek help if you are seriously depressed. And don't give up. You will find someone who can and will be there for you. Just maybe not in the timeline you think. Just hold on a bit longer and then the rest will hopefully fall into place
