It's so interesting that because he has an opinion about a song colorism has crept up in the conversation and what he did or didn't do for the community becomes a conversation. Just imagine working in a department store or being in a space every day hearing the same song, yeah you would get exhausted with too. I feel like the industry wants the public to only care about chart numbers because that’s what the industry can control and manipulate. They can’t control the career of a person who is loved by the public and that person has impacted the culture. Because even if the industry never played another Kendrick song, for example. I would find whatever other way to purchase and listen to his music. And I’m sure they hate that. But the industry made an artist like Drake. So they can end his career whenever. He doesn’t have a whole culture or region behind him. He of course has a lot of fans, but it’s very different. A lot more unstable

I love rap again because of Kendrick. He is bringing rap back to the way it was in the 80's when there were rap battles but it was still unity and love in our black communities. Please keep Kendrick safe. Elites kill people who bring the black communties together. They tried to destroy hip hop then and it didnt work. Now they have untalented rappers rapping about topics that degregate the black communities and it's culture.
