​@TheLandersw you can't even compare these two, because the percentage of close range shots that goes into Birds record is wayyyy higher than Currys, he shoots from everywhere, literally. Not just 10 ft from the basket. Yes Bird shot deep sometimes for his time, but nothing like Curry.

@@TheLandersw bro, Bird never even had four 3PA in any of his seasons and an career average of 1.9 a game. Curry is out here shooting ELEVEN 3pointers a game. why do you compare their overall FG%. Just compare their 3PT% and 2PT% seperately and you would see that Steph beats Bird in BOTH and he also has a higher career FT%. Curry is MUCH more effective than Bird was. The reason why his total FG% is lower than Birds is simply because Bird shot 90% of his shots from 2pt range. Curry`s focus on 3pts lowers his overall FG% but that`s why eFG% exists. Curry has 58.3% and Bird has 51.4% over their careers. Bird is at rank 199 in efg% barely making the top 200. while Curry is the only 3pt shooter to even make the Top 15 in eFG%. THAT`S impressive.
