My simple take.. Mother loses daughter and wants to leave everything behind. A daughter is overwhelmed by life and wants to leave everything behind. They cross paths, share a mini adventure together and realize that life will be okay for both of them. Meeting each other at the right time was just what both of them needed. Beautiful song, visuals and connection between each other. Loved it. Thank you for sharing.

Crazy how this song was healing for me! My mother pst away in 2019, in Brazil, where J am from. I sold our house, my car, bought 2 suitcases and moved to Canada 🇨🇦 in 2000! It was a Dream to be able to VR with her all over this amazing country, with my guitar! Today I’m 54 and I’m taking my daughter back to Brazil next year… guess what will we do? This touches me. My daughter moved out 3 months ago to live with her boyfriend and parents. I've been heart broken and dealing with it hard. 💔 it ended badly at home. We are talking but she don't contact me very much. All that love i gave i wonder was it worth it all. Im 40 and she is 16. She to young and struggles with her mental health. Sho only messages or calls when she needs me. Im her rescuer when she she not good but when she is good i don't hear from her. Thanks for this song and video. Alot of mothers need this. Im sure daughters to. ❤

I think the fact she still turn to you when she ‘needs rescuing’ speaks volumes. At 16 and struggling with mental health she probably isn’t emotionally mature enough to process a lot of things or have open 2 way dialogue with you. I’m sure this will change in the coming years 🙂 hope things are getting better.

Wow! The way this hits the soul for me is just incredible. My kids father was killed almost 4yrs ago and these words are so similar to what I speak into my kids, finding our way in life without him with us physically. To all the moms out there, heartbroken about the distance between you and your daughter, just give it time and patience. There was a time i didn't talk to my mom much. And i regret that deeply.
