She’s nice in person; my friend met her when she visited the Philippines for the Mr. World pageant. But I must say still undeserving of the MW 2016 crown. Her looks and styling were so-so, her presence was not strong, and her answer was very average and predictable in the q&A. She wasn’t even a segment winner nor a front runner and literally came from nowhere - was obviously handpicked to win.

Catriona is undoubtedly the pageant queen who can win any beauty pageant but that year Stephanie was the best.Miss world has different requirements and miss universe has different requirements maybe a person who has all the qualities of miss universe can lack in some qualities of Miss World and vice verca. We don't know how much hard work they had put for the competition so we can't judge them. But definitely Stephanie has the miss World aura and Catriona has Miss universe aura that is why both of them won in their respective competition.

@ric roc The hate comes from how Miss World chooses the winner. In the end, it worked out well for both Catriona and Stephanie. Stephanie helped Puerto Rico end a 41-year Miss World title drought while Catriona helped the Philippines extend their Big Four international beauty pageant title winning streak at the time to six consecutive years with his Miss Universe 2018 title.

Stephanie you deserved that crown. Catriona did not. Cat was a copy of Megan young. Her dress was similar, her hair, her makeup, her jewelry, and even her demeanor. She also didn’t have the same confidence that she had in miss universe. When the host asked her how she was doing, she replied with “yep” and sounded flustered. Even the host joked about her saying “yup”. The miss universe cat would never sound like that. However, in miss universe, Cat’s style and fierceness came out. She was like a different person. It’s almost like she wasn’t really herself in Miss World, then in miss universe, she started to shine. So stop hating on Stephanie and get over it.

THAT was such a cooking show - but at least it had been expected, as everyone had already predicted the “win” (Morley didn’t bother to even be discreet about her relationship with Chris at all). The 2016 edition took people by surprise because the front runners and real performers had been winning prior to that year. Then someone’s friend had something to do with the selection of the winner again. And the contestant was so plain and unremarkable and without even any fast track accomplishment, that the shenanigan was very obvious. Disgusting.

I felt Catriona was different from the "robbed" queens. I felt the 2016 results was not justified, when we saw Catriona's Young Focus project continued even after her both MW and MU stint.
