Stephanie Mills is a real deal Queen. I remember when I first started listening to her music in 2008(thanks to pandora), I couldn’t turn it off. Her voice/vocals gave me chills made all the hair on my arms rise up. Her music touch my soul, her Denise Williams, Anita Baker, Patti Labelle and a few others just had it! Edge was right there are some people who just got it. No matter the work they put in they can’t be on that level. God bless Ms. Mills! 🙏🏾

There's a level of excellence that is required to earn the kind of respect Ms Stephanie mills commands. And a lot of artists just don't have it. But want it anyway. Everything is not for everybody. Miss Mills has integrity. Most people don't.

You told the truth shoequeenn01 ! She has it! We know that a lot of artists simply don’t have it! She was taught from an early age to have integrity! Her upbringing factored into it! Her Mom traveled with her until the age of 23 and she didn’t allow her daughter to be taken advantage of by the industry. I saw her in concert 🎵 in the 80’s and she was phenomenal! I was struck by the fact that the live concert and the actual recordings sounded so much just alike! She put in the work! Look at how many times she mentioned it! It would have been a better interview if Ms. Mills had not been cut off multiple times and allowed to answer the questions completely! Interviewing someone takes a very special talent! There is a certain skill to it!
