There you are, in that beautiful tropical jungle. Meantime, it's gray and foggy outside, with bare trees, and almost no view! 🎶🎵😳🎶

What an enchanting place you've chosen for this new harp video! I mean, your choices of scenery are always charming, but there are times you outdo yourself - such as this one. I bet the plants and flowers felt as pleased😍 as i did myself listening to the lovely tunes of this piece! 🤩

THE PLAIN OF INSPIRATION SCRIPTURE READING: JOSHUA 5:13-15 13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? 14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? 15 And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so. TITLE: SMELLING GOOD FROM HEAD TO TOE In the text, we find Joshua standing by Jericho, and he looks up and sees a man standing with his sword drawn. Jericho means fragrance, Joshua means deliverance. So deliverance seen a man with the sword drawn. Joshua asked the man if he was a friend or foe, and he said neither but proclaimed to be the head of the Lord of Host armies. Then, he told Joshua to remove his sandals, for he stood on holy ground, which is a hebrew customer of exchanging property. The Lord had removed the shame from off Israel and given them the aroma of victory, allowing them to smell good from head to toe. Beloved God has given you the victory, for he always leads you in triumph, diffusing the aroma of victory for our beloved saviou, and has exchanged us death for life by his sacrifice on the cross. Raising to abundant life always pleasing to the nostrils of God. Jesus loves yo, and so do I!

Hi Stephanie! Beautiful as always and again very well played. Soothing and relaxing as well as entertaining. Filmed on your dad's front porch? That's a beautiful venue to employ. I also wanted to tell you about a lady on KZbin who plays her harp - albeit a smaller harp than yours - like a guitar. She holds it like a guitar and it does sound different. I saw she utilizes a strap to mute the strings as she says a harp has a LOT of sustain. If you get a chance, I'd love to hear your opinion of her playing it that way. Play on!
@StephanieClaussen6 ай бұрын
Do you know if she's playing a Delta harp? The black electric kind? I've seen that and tried it myself but find it super difficult!
@richzulewski71856 ай бұрын
@@StephanieClaussen Let me get back to you on that. I do seem to recall it being black but not totally sure about being electric. Let me do some research.
@richzulewski71856 ай бұрын
@@StephanieClaussen I did find her again. HarpistKT. Yes it is an electric harp and sounds a lot like an electric guitar.
@StephanieClaussen6 ай бұрын
@@richzulewski7185 It is the Delta harp! I got to try on at a harp conference. I know of a number of professionals who play them, but it's not my favorite because if you wear it on a strap you can't see your fingers very well. I think it makes everything more challenging. But it looks very cool. 😎
@richzulewski71856 ай бұрын
@@StephanieClaussen Thanks for that input. Obviously I'm not a harpist but I am a guitarist and do understand your need to see the multitude of strings on the instrument although the guitar has but 6 (or sometimes 12). Interesting in either way to see variations of a centuries old instrument and how things could sound differently.

@@poohwol10 I wonder if they've done any studies about the effects of harp music on plants? I know it helps babies heal when played in hospitals - I bet it's good for plants too.
@poohwol106 ай бұрын
@@StephanieClaussen I would agree! It works to help adults heal, too, as evidenced by the the funeral I played at today! Even with 3 false starts on 1 of the songs I played, the harp changed the atmosphere in the room! 🥰‼️🎶. Check in with your dad next week & see if his plants are perkier. 🤷♀️
