The Revolution one did look like it had way more pigment at the bottom, my theory is that maybe when you sprayed it there was still some buildup at the bottom and it sucked up a whole bunch of pigment and now it's just spraying poorly mixed pigment. Maybe store it upside down so that the pigment settles on the upper part. Give it a few sprays tho to clean all that pigment from the tube.

I’d rather just buy a cheap MUA highlighter and scrape some into the Superdrug vitamin E facial spray, it’s a cheap dupe for the Iconic London spray and way better payoff than the Revolution spray, no speckles as long as you shake it. I’m usually impressed by revolution products but this one is a flop, they need to re-release it with a lot less pigment.

I got the MUR ones and honestly I really like them. You just have to shake then REALLY well bc there is a lot of pigment in them & it gets stuck at the bottom of the spray part. The better it’s shaked the better it works.

Victoria Panossian They really are nice dupes for the Iconic London and the Mac Fix Plus Shimmer’s. Just look at the bottom of the bottle after you shake it to make sure all the pigment is mixed good. It’s almost like once you think it’s shakes up enough, shake it just a little more. There is a little BB or little ball in the bottle to help mix the product. If it’s not shakes up good, then it can be a problem but as long as it’s shakes really good, it’s SO pretty! Also make sure to only spray one spritz on each side of your face. If you spray it continuously then it can look like lots of glitter. It’s definitely one of MUR products that you don’t need much of. I use the gold shade on my face and the bronze shade on my body it just just looks stunning. I go a little over on the body but that’s bc I like to shimmer lol.

Soooo glad I'm not the only one who had a problem with this spray. I love the Iconic London one and hoped it would be a dupe, so I bought the light spray to give it a go and everytime I used it it left gold specks all over my face. Best stick to Iconic London 😭

What ive found with the revolution one is you have to shake it for a while which is annoying then spray it on and then blend it out to get a even coverage. Also even you used it within minutes of someone else you still have to give it a hard long shake

I have the make up revolution one in the lighter shade and it does actually work you just have to make sure it’s properly shook and make sure at the bottom of the bottle none of the pigment is still gathered. but this does happen if it isn’t properly shook, but it does leave my face with spots of pigment anyway. which isn’t great xxx

Ive seen a few KZbinrs saying their Revolution one has stopped spraying and they have had to transfer it into new bottles. Just your luck Steph to get the opposite. Would be my luck too, probably as i was about to go out or something.

If I use these type of sprays and they leave specks of pigment I just use my beautyblender to disperse specks, or to avoid specks completely I spray the product onto my beautyblender and then just lightly press it over my makeup. Still gives the same effect without running the risk of pigment patches x

When you sprayed the second time you could see pure pigment come out the bottle, I'm wondering if the pigment settled in the straw of the sprayer, I was gonna go purchase this but glad I waited till very end otherwise I wouldn't have seen the shocking truth 😲😲😲😲

Bought the lighter one and used it for a while (used a beauty sponge to blend any particles in) but after a few uses the spray stopped working and I can’t get it to work at all 🙁 seen a lot of comments about this, they really need to get it fixed! Would prefer to pay a bit extra for the iconic ones rather than waste three quarters of the product 🙄 xoxo

I’ve been using this since December now and never had that happen to me 😂😂 I store mine lying down and always give it a few air sprays to get rid of any pigment that might have settled and it’s always been fine so maybe that helps? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I dunno what happened to yours Steph 🤷🏼‍♀️🙈😂 xxx

That's a good tip! Laying it down will definitely stop the pigment from settling in the bottom. Considering as this seems to have quite a lot of pigment I think a really good shake EVERY time it's used will also help. People always write off a product after just one fail. Give it a good chance and try different methods before calling it quits.

The barri m glow spray has done the same to me lol, 1st few times was fine now however it's like spray copper pigment all over my face :-( I love makeup and test a lot of makeup so have a tone and I was so surprised when the barri m did that to my lovely fresh on point makeup lol had to wash it all off and then didn't have enough time to put more makeup up on for my friends birthday so looked like a zombie lol never again lol to scared to buy anything like that anymore, will only by clear setting sprays lol xxxx
