Yeah it was what I had on hand. Being I was living in a condo/apartment that was not a smelly option to keep fungus gnats under control.

@@growingthings6232 acchh, that was 4 years ago, yer forgiven. I hate fungus gnats, I mean i really fu..ing hate them. When i buy a plant I really like and want to keep in a pot I will cover the top with sharp grit and smother that grit with neem oil. My plants love it and the gnats hate it. I am gnat free.

I was so tempted to buy a Jasmine plant last weekend, it was $24 but I didn't since I knew they need lots of light, the smell is gorgeous!

This is one of the most heavenly scented flowers ever. Mine bloomed faithfully for ten years every summer.It grew on a tomato cage. Then I repotted it into a slightly larger pot and it never bloomed again! So in my experience, they do love being pot bound. Good luck with yours . The foliage alone is worth growing this gorgeous plant.

@@growingthings6232 That's not hoya, that's Kalanchoe blossfeldiana, I have them at home in several colors and single and full flowers😀. It is a grateful plant, relatively easy to grow and propagate

Actually i cleaned those carpets right after that repotting surprisingly all the potting media came out lol
