Thank you for such an informative video and great production!! I am not a psychology major, but I just wanted to ask a differentiation between feelings and thoughts. When you talked about asking the clients to meta-communicate their feelings, I don't think that is using their logic. (It would actually be "wrong" if they used their logic to process their feelings imo)

Hi Steph, I just failed my LCSW exam by a few points and wanted to find a video to give more details. I also notice that you credited the AATBS, for helping you pass. I actually also used that program to help me past my LMSW exam. I used another program for my LCSW exam and felt that I was missing a lot of details and I am going back to studying using my AATBS because of the details.

I am amazed that a lot of people are not attached to their feelings. I do share stories about myself with my clients. I deal with a lot of AA women it has helped them but there is no shame attached to my past so I know it helps.
