Hi Steph, to be honest this is actually the first comment I have ever left (not just under your videos but under any video) but I just had to today! You have actually inspired me a lot, I realized I was also “downplaying” my passions and obsessions but not anymore! I’m out and proudly talking about my interests. So, i wanted to sincerely thank you for putting yourself out here on youtube (it must be quite scary sometimes). I am currently reading my first ever romance book “the love hypothesis”! I used to read only mystery/thriller books but you made me interested in romance books. I’m only a few chapters in and I’m absolutely loving it, kicking my feet and giggling. Who knew I was such a hopeless romantic hahaha. My recommendations are mostly from friends, youtube, TikTok and just browsing through bookstores picking up any book that stands out to me to read the back. Sorry, I’m realizing now that this comment is getting pretty long so i’ll swiftly (😉) finish it with my question for you: What would you do, if you knew you couldn’t fail?

Hey if you live mystery I recommend dipping your toes into fantasy with ACOTAR before Steph uploads the reading vlog, the whole time you’re slowly trying to unravel something and I think mystery enjoyers would love trying to solve it like I did, I was surprised I didn’t quite get it right :)

Okay so as someone who was fully influenced into the reading world by you and started off with romance books only and I didn’t even look at fantasy books because i assumed i would never be into that and now yeah it’s my whole personality 😂🙈 i definitely recommend you start with cari can read’s plot summaries on fantasy books they are so fun and easy to get through you can just put them in the background and listen to them like you would an audiobook and it’s so much fun!! I’m so glad you asked what book I’m reading 😂 So I just bought the new edition of fuel the fire by krista and Becca Richie and I’m like probably 8 chapters in and I LOVE THIS BOOK ALREADY. I mean who couldn’t? I’ve been really stressed lately bc of finals and finding that book made my day. My current read is very off brand, it’s a book about Pompeji, by the current director of the park. It’s a German book and I saw it in a small cute bookstore. I was immediately intrigued because I am in my antiquity era right now, the Greeks, the Romans and that book talks a lot about sexuality during that time, daily life, etc. it’s so good!!
