Kevin is keeping it professional by keeping his emotions away from the media and focusing on the tough playoff series ahead. That's the sign of a winner and not a diva.

From Coaching, 43 fxxing lineups, rookies, Harden playing bad on purpose, Kyrie only played 1/4 games, trades for new teammates….etc. So many obstacles, he can just carry and bring everyone ego tgt and play at highest level. And that time when ppl tried to blame anyone on his team, he took it himself for getting hurt. Still, he is able to elevated every his teammates to another level and bring the best of them on the court. He is just unbelievable, no stats chasing, always make right plays. He is exactly the same guy in thunder in warriors and now nets that embrace his teammates and still doing what he does on the court🤯 And ppl really take him for granted sometimes. He’s scared that instead of being the missing piece to a title team, he’ll be the guy to throw the chemistry off and COST them a spot in the Finals. Those Nets fans are gonna tell him about himself too if he can’t deliver. Expectations for him are so low and he STILL won’t step up to the challenge. This is the difference between all-timers and all-stars. The desire isn’t anywhere to be found. He don’t wanna hoop. He wants the fame and fortune that come with it. Oh, by the way...despite what he MAY bring defensively and facilitating the offense, he WILL be a liability because I’m putting him on the line down the stretch every chance I get. He’s SHOOK out here.

I figured it was because if he was to play so quick, the money that Philly withheld from him would be rightfully kept due to Philly thinking he just didn’t show up because he didn’t want to play. If Ben sits out and files his grievance he can claim that Philly withheld money from him even though he was technically out due to “mental health” which is a reason that doesn’t withhold getting paid- he doesn’t want to be like james harden and magically start playing fine because then he’d have to leave the millions he wasn’t paid

I miss the 80s and 90s. If you were well enough to play, you play. The level of these “superstars” being coddled and babied in this era is ludicrous. And people wonder we look at era and call it soft. I mean Bird basically played with a broken back in 91-92.

That's why all those old guys are hobbled now. If you watch anyone that played in the 80's and 90's try to walk, you can almost feel the damage they've done to their bodies. If players today need to sit out, they should sit out or else they can walk with a limp the rest of their lives.

If he was perfect he wldnt be bitching abt Brown, thats the contradiction SAS pointed out. Imv kD has his own concept of public image. Brown is a noob, so he can slam him. Kyrie Harden Simmons r stars, so he has to be careful. But its indicative that behind the scenes KD is a hands off leader.

Ben Simmons reminds me Royce White. Royce was a top draft pick. Went to The Rockets in 2012 and was out of the NBA by 2017/18. He had an overwhelming fear of flying and paralyzing anxiety. Missed an entire season because of his fear. Dude had all the potential in the world to be a great player but mentally he was broken by his fear. I see the same thing with Ben Simmons. It’s like he’s still living in that moment under the rim in his head when the possibility of returning approaches. Dude need’s a psychiatrist and I’m not joking.
