Why are so many people not familiar with Thanasis Antetokounmpo background before he was drafted? He was a talented young professional overseas player and played in the D League before getting drafted in 2014. What has Bronny done outside of his HS career? He suffered a cardiac arrest and didn't play all that well at USC after recovering. They talking about Lebron pulling strings for his son, but they don't understand that people see Bronny's path to the NBA as a basketball talent issue. It would be one thing if he played decently at USC and got picked, but the young man only started 6 games and played poorly. He is basically coming out as a HS talent that doesn't have the talent to be in the NBA and the worst thing happened to him by being advised to forego one more season in college just to fulfill his father's dreams to make history. Seeing him at the "draft party" was really sad in my eyes.

Man get over it. You couldn’t possibly name a single other 55th pick in the second round in the history of the draft unless you googled it but you’re here pretending you’re so hurt about this 55th pick. Cry more loser 😂.

@@alphinmesa-ks7st - Not even close. Remember, there is a difference between getting drafted based on your own resume and being on a team as a bench player that may be due to your brother. Bronny doesn't have the HS or college stats to make the 2nd round and if it was all about getting Bronny to play with his dad for history......WHY NOT DO A CONTRACT AS AN UNDRAFTED FREE AGENT???? He is taking money and opportunity from a more deserving player that doesn't have the support that he has, but his daddy GIFTED him his dream of being drafted. It is ridiculous to see people make excuses for this and incorrectly applying nepotism to this situation. It goes deeper than that.

Yeah but like no. There is no “oh hes a good kid and black and getting nepotism is better than someone snobby”, when the very spot bronny is taking is taking one from another good kid and black that they want to talk about that also doesn’t have a billionare lebron james as their father to support themselves always but instead maybe a single mother. Also the giannias thanasis point is not valid because that aint nepotism since thanasis actually provides something. Without him, giannis would not be as good a player as he is today, and mighta honestly left the bucks.

@@nathan-qx2ep the Thanasis point is completely right. He provides no value to any nba team. His brother being on the team is a power move for the Antetokounmpo family. Giannis says that he wanted his family near him while younger in his career. Thanasis could simply live in Milwaukee to fix that issue which he is doing anyways. No need for him to be in the league, BUT it’s a power move and we are ok with it.

LBJ and Rich Paul have manipulated this draft in the media so much that you would think Bronny was the first overall draft pick. Bronny (& LBJ) has gotten more media coverage during this draft than the top prospects pre and post draft. I feel bad for all the players that deserved to have the media spotlight shined on them during this draft process.

How is that a benefit to them though? I mean seriously, why would they want ALL the spotlight on bronny when all bron has said is he wants what’s best for him. In not one single way does this much media coverage help bronny in any way. Whatever rich and bron did the whole media was gonna be watching and bronny was gonna be the most anticipated pick in the draft.
