This is why I’ve always been Team Kobe - everything Kobe said was completely true. The media always loves Shaq because of his carefree persona but real gamers know - Shaq coasted on his amazing physical gifts rather than his basketball skill. Watching Kobe play basketball was like watching a master work on the Mona Lisa. He wasn't competing against you. He was dodging ghosts. He was in a fight to the death. He was war ready. He was never choking, never scared, never shook. He was the most dominant player I've ever seen under 6'9. A flawless continuation of MJ that built on all his strengths. The only one who understood the mindset it takes. The "delusional self confidence" that comes from the iron will it took to put up 700 shots after a win. That man was creating art on the court and his dramatics were Shakespearean. This man is walking on water and floating back to kill you. Then twist the knife. He wanted to break your spirit and ruin your life. He was raw beef walking. Gritty and bloody and born amid violence. Salt. Smoke. Pepper and fire. Did I make it sound epic enough? Because it was. As fuck.

This comment is silly af. Shaq could be in shape. But if Kobe wasn't averaging like 25 points beside Shaq the Lakers would still lose. Give it up Bruh. Shaq did not carry.

@EL Plagua Kobe wasn't even in his prime ! Without Kobe, shaq would've been what he was with Orlando

I have nothing but love for Kobe. And Shaq. Kobe is a top player. If not the top player of all time.

People over look that ..Duncan could never 3peat let alone back to back Lol
@yourmomsgoat58405 жыл бұрын
Fullmetal I would argue that lebron in that category and Kobe tbh and ya spurs were a great team and Duncan was in the best system but who really thought that team would 3 peat

shaq was fit in college and during his tenure in orlando. he moves like he is a sf but he is 7'. really a freak of nature. he was grabbing every rebound and blocking every shot and can defend all positions, he can steal the ball from guards too.
