Been a ref in another sport. If I disrespect the rulebook so gross I would be fired after two warnings. Where in the WNBA is there a real referee comity to control their referees fouls? If I didn’t take care of players safety I will be fired also. And a commissioner who neglect bad inconsistent refereeing and care for player safety is a disaster for the sport.

Even the NHL realized long ago that speed and skill attract a lot more fans than cheap shots and thuggery. There used to be an average of multiple fights per game, now there's an average of less than one. The game was changed to emphasize speed, skill, great shots and amazing passing which are far more exciting to watch, and have attracted many new fans. If only the W had any players with speed, skill, great shots and amazing passing....oh yeah, they do - led by CC22! Every sport, INCLUDING the NBA, has done the exact opposite of what the WNBA DID. The difference? The other sports are successful and make huge profits. THE level of talent in the WNBA isn't very good generally. A high school boys team would dominate. They had a rookie who couldn't jump, run, dribble, shoot and isn't very athletic, and dominated the league in rebounds. They had to use multiple defenders and cheap shots to try to slow Clark down. That is what makes them angry, it shows how bad the talent in the league is. The league, some coaches, old activist players, corrupt officials, and inept leadership in the league office will need to be cleaned out.

The NBA should take over management of the WNBA. The WNBA has shown they don't know what they are doing. The NBA knows how to do it. WNBA players would be subject to the same rules as NBA players. The same would be true of WNBA referees. Referees and players from the WNBA would be subject to the penalties as NBA players and referees.
