Mayweather is great at managing his psychology. Illiterate or not, he is still arguably the strongest mental athlete (maybe Roger Federer ranks up there) of all times. This is true but if you speak to people they will claim Italian american or sweedish american etc. Being white is a mentality. I was listening to some old Jews speaking about it in a interview. They were talking about the first time they were called or claimed white was in america. They said they were asked if they were white or Jewish when getting on a bus. They looked in the back of the bus and the front and understood that if they said Jewish they be lumped in with "blacks". So they adopted being labeled as white to avoid that and get better treatment. I thought that was deep when I heard it. I've also heard blacks from other places tell me they were never referred to as black until they came to america...
