I like how Barbara can't even get the technical fact that Colbert's Father and brothers died in a plane crash, not a car crash. You'd think with something like that you'd be respectful and at least show you did SOME research before having your guest on. These women combined have the charisma of a puddle of mud.
@noeliajaime33138 жыл бұрын
+HiddenWen I'm not surprised at barbara Walters.She goes for the cheap blow to get ratings the cunt.I remember when she tried to "OUT" Ricky martin when he wasn't ready to,she made him so uncomfortable and he later said that he felt like crying out of desperation because she would not let it go and he wasn't ready to go public.Hated her ever since.

He truly pays homage to his mother and the entire Colbert family in his actions, response, and the way he conducts his himself in this clip. That is the real content here. Wow, you might be right. All I know is, I will sleep more peacefully tonight, knowing that "With great power comes great responsibility" ( And I hear this quote repeated all the time, and never do they give credit to Stan Lee, who coined the phrase,) and Steven Colbert may have some serious cool armor. He...well..um..yeah...I am totally confused with that fusion
@seanberge110 жыл бұрын
renzoprime97 Sean Bergeron However, if Steven Colbert had that armor, I think the world would be a better place. Or like the worst place, I don't know. I could see him trumping Hitler, and then laughing about it. I guess it doesn't matter, as long as I'm a general....with quick access to a plane,,,,Just in case the Steven Colbert version of Iron Man decided to kill his generals. Then yeah, I would be out of there. And then I would be like "It was renzoprime97 idea, I was only a general, I'm just trying to take my 7 babies moma.s to Costa Rica, with my suitcase full off gold bullion. What's the problem? Yeah, fuck that evil bastard."
@Eric144929 жыл бұрын
Sean Bergeron Stan Lee did not coined that phrase, it was Voltaire.

It's not all like this, we swear. Granted there are women like this (I'm from the South (the yee-haw land) and we always say "there's at least one person like that everywhere you go except home"), but they don't roam the plains looking for people to annoy or anything. They just kinda show up and you just learn to ignore them for your benefit because they sure as hell won't shut up, especially in packs.

Okay I am an Indian responding from middle east. So, this guy is hilarious genius who is trying to educate the Americans that "there is a world outside the borders of America and the mainstream medias are feeding you with nothing but big fat lies" I have watched almost every episodes of his "colbert report" it is funny and gives a clear idea of American politics which is shitty as the politics any where in the world. You should also check for Jon Stewart and john Oliver.....
@lynnturman81579 жыл бұрын
Steven Colbert had (he recently quit) a popular show in America where he pretends to be a self-centered, pompous, American reporter. It's a parody of people like Bill O'Reilly & Sean Hannity who are reporters for Fox News here in America.
@Vurionus129 жыл бұрын
He is taking over for Letterman on The Late Show. He didnt really quit so much as went on to a bigger gig and not as the personality Stephen Colbert but as just himself . Im sorry just the way you said it makes it sound like he was disgruntled in some way when really its more fair to say he was promoted. There are no hard feelings with him leaving the report and I implore everyone to watch his last show, I have never seen a stronger showing of famous people in one building that wasnt the oscars.
@TheBigDYTJuggalo9 жыл бұрын
zaad mohamed Wow, you totally misinterpreted what they are trying to do, without going into it now, it is NOT to teach Americans that there is a world outside of America, as we all know that already. And yes, we know the news lies to us as the news does to EVERYBODY in EVERY other country too(yours included). You were right in other things you stated, but that was a wrong read on these programs... BTW i was a watcher of his show and The Daily Show too, so i am not putting them or you down, just saying that was not what they were trying to do. Also John Oliver took over for a short stint for Jon Stewart, they need to look up "The Daily Show", not the different people individually on it.
