Fulton just underestimated Inoue, while Inoue probably overestimated Fulton. Look at their interviews before the fight. Fulton keep saying: "I'm stronger, bigger, smarter, he's a hypejob, will wipe him out clean" while Inoue saying: " Black athletes are strong, he's fast, I've never fought someone like him." See the difference?

The difference between them two is that Inoue's been in 20 title fights, compared to Fulton's 3. It's like Tom Brady been to many Superbowl and he use to that. Fulton's does not use to being in a lot of championship fights.

You can't blame Ref. Nobody expected KO is coming at that time. It was too sudden and Inoue was too quick.

Yeah, because Inoue learned from the first Donaire Fight...that was bullshit. But not this time, Inoue was quicker than the Ref...and you can see it when the Ref threw down his Hands, because he knew he was too slow. Love it!

Yes, the glove touched the ground, that is why Inoue momentarily stopped. Fulton stood up quickly, and also the ref did nothing. Inoue continued on. There was nothing wrong with what Inoue did. Fulton got up. Now, Tank Davis is too big. Inoue just won his 4th division. This is the super bantamweight division (122 lbs). Inoue would have to win the featherweight division (126 lbs) first. The 126 lbs division has some pretty good and talented fighters. This will be difficult for any fighter to move up to try and win a fifth division. Then if he succeeds, he would have to go to the junior lightweight division (130 lbs) aka super featherweight division. That would be difficult. We're talking about a few years from now. Tank Davis would probably be at 140 or 147 at that time. Reality is that Tank is too big.

Fulton was scared! Watch his eyes right before the fight. Fulton talking all that smack that he was faster, he had the better jab, he said he will outclass Inoue, said he was a hype job. So who's the hype job now? He also said who has Inoue fought? He said Inoue never fought a black fighter or spar a black fighter. We tried to tell you all that Inoue is levels above Fulton. In skull and ring IQ , better footwork. Inoue would outbox Figaroa, Roman, Leo. Tell tank go fight Teo Lopez or David Benevides . Because you want Inoue to step up 13 pounds. Teo and David is 13 pounds above tank. Fulton got chicken legs that's why Fulton has no power. Power comes from bottom. Inoue is rank #2 jabs landed according to Conpubox! Maybe you all don't study your opponent. Here is what Compubox said! Inoue #1 in punches per rd., #2 in plus/minus, #2 connect pct., #2 jabs landed, #2 power landed. Fulton don't even clear the top 10. Inoue had 20 consecutive title fight with 18 KO

Inoue is a real killer, man. If you're standing, you're dead. If Fulton wanted the ref to help him, he shouldn't have stood up after that first right straight.

Fulton knew he was losing badly and if he took a knee, it would have effectively ended the fight. I think in that brief moment, I think he felt he had no choice but to try to stay up.

That was no Roy Jones, man. Montell Griffin had his knee down for about a full second or more before Roy punched him hard two times. I've always been a Roy Jones Jr. fan, but that was not acceptable. In Inoue's fight, you can't even discern for sure whether Fulton's hand touched the ground or not and he was up on his two feet when he got hit. It was also in a split second, unlike Jones' case. These two incidents are nothing like each other. There was no double standard kinda thing in this case. Not too many people have brought this topic up, you say, but that's because there's really nothing to talk about, and yet you talked about it for three and a half minutes. Otherwise, a very good podcast.

9:31 I think he did touch, but, it was the heat of the moment, you know how sometimes the bell rings and they don’t hear it? It was a split second decision and he went for the kill. Besides, the ref should have stepped in there to avoid that. But it is what it is, I doubt it could have changed the result Inoue was already running to him before Fulton touched the floor

It wasn't the fact that Fulton wasn't himself, no matter how good Fulton is Inoue will always be better than him. Gary Russell Jr. Would definitely get knocked out by Inoue, even without power he can outbox Gary, if bam rodriguez goes up to Inoues weight class I think he'll get knocked out
