I used to think that Lebron was the best player in the world but I honestly think Curry is the best player in the world right now. As soon as he passes half court, everyone is concerned. The shots he takes are so difficult, but they almost always go in...his ball handling is insane, his assists are creative and accurate, his shots are quick and deadly and he is unselfish with the ball. Nobody in the NBA can match him...nobody.

+IKON LKP He's definitely a finesse and skill player. Doesn't dunk much at all, isn't the strongest, tallest, or most athletic, but absolutely demolishes defenders and I think that makes him the most relatable. The stuff he does is insane and he does it with things like shooting and handles which everybody can develop if they put in the time and effort
@wackyd9 жыл бұрын
+IKON LKP I think people always appreciate dominance but there have been very few players over the past few decades who have dominated based almost entirely on their technical skills. I feel like the closest recent comparisons for Curry are probably Nash and Kobe but Nash didn't get as much love from the average fan because he was a pass-first guy and Kobe's dominance had a lot to do with his size and athleticism.

Rings are NOT created equal. Championship 1, The showtime lakers were over. Magic was old, Kareem was gone... so... meh Championship 2, Clyde Drexler and... nobody. Championship 3, Charles Barkley and... nobody Championship 4, Pretty balanced starting 5... and the bench was complete garbage (supersonics) Championship 5 and 6, Karl Malone and John Stockton... and... nobody. If Jordan had to play against Lebron, Kyrie, AND kevin Love... and 3 point shooting specialists galore... he'd have his hands full. If he had to play against Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Kevin Durant... every team he's ever been on would lose. In today's standards, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman... would be more comparable to Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green... and we haven't even talked about KD. It was debateable last year whether Golden State was an overall better team than the prime Bulls. This year... you're an idiot if you don't KNOW that Golden State is better than the punkass 96 Bulls.

Out of all the stars in the league today, Curry would have the hardest time playing in the old school NBA when guys were allowed to be more physical. Look at him when he goes to the hoop! Steph is an great finisher at the rim, not the best, but still very good, and his mid range is good as well. He isn't the best at finishing at the rim, an obvious example of someone better is Russel Westbrook, but he is better than a lot of pg. Also, did you even watch the video? Most of the shots in there were mid range or lay ups. Also, only half of steph's points are from threes, and if he didn't shoot threes, he would drive more and probably get more points. So, saying he can only shoot threes or that if he didn't shoot threes, he wouldn't be good is uneducated. But, you're right in that he chokes a lot.

+Notorious Nas then you must be blind
@johnathanb82918 жыл бұрын
+Notorious Nas that doesn't mean he doesn't have handles, curry has broken numerous of people's ankles, plus if he has no handles, why can't people steal? Why can't people guard him? Exactly
@johnathanb82918 жыл бұрын
+Notorious Nas of course, Kyrie is mainly known for his handles, and curry is known for his shooting ability
@johnathanb82918 жыл бұрын
all of them have unique handles not better, they both can do the same things just slighltly different

Stephen curry may be the most complete and awe inspiring player in NBA history. Top five all time easily and he's not even in his prime. Amazing.

STEPH CURRY IS so much fun to watch. He is absolutely MUST-SEE-TV. If you doubled the ticket prices on his road games, people would pay with no questions asked. He's going to make a fortune on his next contract. The Golden Boy indeed. GO DUBS!

He is simply phenomenal...he dribbles around defenders like a moped maneuvering around a crowded downtown street full of yellow taxicabs during rush hour. The Clippers surrounded him at the three point arc and he still dribble circles around them!
