I’m a Cavs fan but Steph was still playing though injury. His trainer said it himself. He didn’t have the lateral quickness to drive by in the finals, which is why he threw up. Bad shots. Against the blazers they didn’t double him or put as much pressure which is why Steph went off

For real this is what made me respect Steph Curry as a player was this playoff run. Yes he got unbelievable levels of hype in the regular season to the point, he felt overrated but he justified it this playoff run. The man sprained his knee even more severe was that it was an MCL injury that should've knocked him out the rest of the playoffs. But nope he attacks his injury rehab making something that takes 6 to 8 weeks to get back into basketball shape in a matter of just 2 weeks. Even the great games to close out Porland and comeback 3-1 vs 2 MVP players in Durant and Westbrook. Unfortunately people to this day don't understand that with all that action it wore his knee down and not getting better. By the time the Finals arrived his knee was unstable to the point he couldn't dribble drive against guys like Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson. Despite the lost he showed what Warrior he was and got his revenge next season and put a 3-1 winning record vs LeBron. Respect to this guy as he aims to take control of the West again
