This literally is the GREATEST stretch of basketball by any single player of the modern era. The efficiency, +/- , PER, True shooting percentage, etc... Just amazing. I tell ppl this all the time, I LOVE KOBE BRYANT til the death of me, however THIS guy IS the ONLY reason I even watch the NBA. Regardless of if they gave the FINALS away that year, the 2015-2016 season this guy had has got to be up there as an all-time great. This guy and HIS team literally blessed you if you purchased tickets bc you got to cheer for your team as well as(at some point during the game) cheer for him. Which btw, is a very underrated quality about this guy. This was a special season and one that will be hard to erase from my memory. Dude was cerebrally killing like KOBE, showtiming with flair and likeable as MAGIC, Dropping daggers like MIKE, ALL while playing with below the rim efficiency like BIRD!! It's something I feel will never be duplicated again.

Basketball fans are truly privileged to witness one of the greatest exhibitions of basketball talent in the history of the game. In 50 years of watching NBA ball, I've seen them all: Magic, Bird, Jordan, etc. but I've never seen anything like Steph Curry. He is to basketball what Gretzky was to hockey and Tiger Woods was to golf. All other players look like amateurs in comparison.

I hope Curry can take more shots now. He is hesitated and always pass the ball to Green and the offense gets stuck. Kerr knows nothing about the power of Steph Curry. The NBA is rigged in 2016, Lechoke complained to the NBA to request suspension of the best defender of the opposing team after he stepped over Green, this is the most shameful thing one can do in NBA history. Shame on Lebron! And the NBA just did their every effort to prolong that series to make more money!
@ThorGodofThunder4206 жыл бұрын
I agree with your last part. NBA definitely extended that series for the money. Saying Kerr knows nothing about that Power of Curry, that's straight disrespect. Steph usually takes more shots than anybody else on the team (Unless Klay or KD is shooting really well that day). That's the whole point of their offense, they have 3 really good shooters, and you typically feed the hot hand. He's the only one that truly has a green light to just shoot, from anywhere on the floor, whether he's hitting shots or not. He's the focal part of their offense. Steve Kerr of all people knows and recognizes that, and that's why it's all built around him.
@xjpwcnm6 жыл бұрын
Just compare Curry playing under Walton and playing under Kerr, you will find that Curry takes less shots, is more hesitated, and gives the ball to Green more often, usually end up with a turnover. Curry usually has no ball in his hand and just run around the screen all the time. But you know because he's not a Nike player, he is always fouled and has no calls. This definitely hurts their offense.

Honestly, even though this Warriors team added Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins, the 2016 Warriors were the absolute best team I've ever seen. I Have Autism - Curry is my favorite player in the NBA today. I love him. But he is not Michael in no way. Jordan not only was double teamed his entire career, he was wacked when the NBA allowed WACKING. That's a game Curry cannot play and excel. I'm not saying Curry couldn't play in that league. I'm saying he wouldn't avg 30 and be 2x MVP.
