Haven't watched yet but I wanted to tell you I love your coffee shop stories and hotel stories the best. For some reason being the person in the story that eventually goes to bed are the most calming for me. Maybe a hotel story where we go for a walk in the woods and then come back to our room for sleep would be nice . ❤❤

This is so wholesome and delightfully sweet! :3 The thought of a sleepy-time candy shop, I can imagine all the delicious sweets you can buy! Lavender soft chews, peppermint melts, maybe even a warm tea gelatin treat. If I were to imagine a shop in the same village, I would love to see a shop that sells various yarns and threads. It's a very cozy place where you can lie on hammocks, ginormous bundles of yarn. It could be a fun idea, as I like to keep warm. Thank you for today's story. :3

This is my current favorite! It took me weeks before I was able to hear the end. It's so soothing that I rarely make it past the meadow of reflection. The picture your words paint in my mind helps me to imagine myself in the story. I also really like how this story is more interactive and makes me think about how I would answer the questions, like how do I spread happiness. I often struggle with anxiety and racing thoughts at night but with this story, and others like it (hotels, coffee shops, museums, etc.) I can focus on being in the story while you gently guide my thoughts so they can't run wild and keep me awake. I sleep so much better with your stories! I can't say enough good good things about how much I love your stories and appreciate all that you do! Thank you ❤

Love the story, and your voice. The only thing that would have made it better for me is if the shop owner had been referred to in an alternate way than "old lady." I don't know what you intend to convey with the use of the term "old", but that seems to depend a lot on the age of the listener. Maybe either giving an age, or referring to her as motherly or grandmotherly would make the intent of the descriptor "old" more clear? Thanks for this sleep tale!

I haven't listened to this yet but once I get to bed I won't be able to write. I look forward to this. When I was little, there was a little "door" (it was just a panel nailed over my closet wall, I think it was to access plumbing if you needed because I was next to the loo). My brother told me it was a monster door but I knew it was a candy store. There was lemon gum, clove drops, shoestring licorice and marshmallow strawberries. I guess those were my favourites at the time but here I am, about 58 years later remembering what was behind that wee door.
