Hi Chris. I’m sending my best to you. Life can be too much for sure. All I can say is what I have learned over the years is when I’m feeling like things are tough, is to be gentle and kind with myself. It’s easier said than done I know, but if you can find it within yourself just to pause and think kindly upon yourself it might ease the struggle. That’s what I try and do anyway. I wish you peace my friend. Stephen 🙏🏻

Good morning from Australia Stephen. Good evening for you I imagine. I'm from Victoria and I woke up this morning to find this. Can't wit until bedtime tonight. Thank you so very much for your beautiful stories I listen every night. I have very strong Irish heritage. But two of my ancestors got a free boat trip down here in the late 1700s. Mary Brennan at 16 and Samuel Oddnbaker at 23. My Nanna maternal Nanna was oh so proud that her family were free settlers and she was their first Aussie born child in 1890. 😊😉💚💜🦘🙏

Hi Steven Hi Stephen, very much looking forward to listening to this story about the Great Ocean Road and Australia (my home for 28 years now). I am sure that you have many, many Australian listeners in our community. Thank you for sharing this story about our beautiful country. Ps. I hope you are not working too hard with all of these stories. I dont know how you do it but every single one is very different, interesting, relaxing, soothing & most importantly safe. Thank you so much for this wonderful journey along a road I have known so well. For 30+ yrs we lived within an hours drive of Lorne the township at the official beginning of the Great Ocean Rd and we'd often go there for a drive. In fact we spent our honeymoon traveling along the Great Ocean Rd. It is truly a Spiritual/magical place. Although it is beautiful at anytime of the year, my favourite time is mid winter amongst the winter storms. Thank you for all your lovely sleep stories but especially the Underwater Adventure one and The Bookshop of Sleep series (I wish there were more of both of these) I don't sleep very well these days so your stories are a great help. Thankyou ❤❤

Thoughts on another driving story: Perhaps a drive through several national parks in the desert southwest of America. The circle of parks in Utah quickly come to mind (Bryce, Zion, Arches, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands). Having a classic British car, there are a number of sounds (and smells) that you might be able to explore. The hum of the tires on the road, the rumble of the engine, especially if one is shifting going up or down a maintain side or winding valley, the sounds of the wind, etc. With a classic British car, the smells include the especially cozy smell of old leather and the (hopefully) faint smell of oil. (This one is a double-edged sword, as far too many people find the sounds of a car on the highway to be too cozy and they fall asleep at the wheel. Maybe this should have a public service/warning notice?)

Good morning Stephen - I'm sorry to tell you there is a loud ad at the end of this lovely story now as well - I don't think there was one before. It's early morning (I selected it after waking up around 4am ) - so not so bad, tho I would have liked to sleep longer. Here's a thought for you - I recently listened to a sleep story on another channel. The story itself was not that long, but the calming background sounds played for another 5 hours - so no disturbing ads to wake you up at the end - or at least not until it was time to get up lol. Still adore your stories, tho! ❤ I also know ads are necessary to help pay for what you do - so I plan to become a patron soon.😊
