Shots attempted by this guy, he has no pressure at all is just attempt to do shots in how many times that's all. Black ball for 147 thousand pounds. Try it genius.

@RickTheRedBrick yeah, Hendry simply wasn't a spectacular shot-taker. Yet only Ronnie compares to him in terms of a (successful) no-reverse-gear approach to play. Trump is one of the most spectacular shot takers of all time. What age is he now? He's only recently reached the level of consistency and self-belief that Hendry already had as a teenager.

I think it’s probably a mix of a few things for Hendry. I don’t think it has much to do with ROS going for records, he’s been retired 8 years and seen quite a few of his records go already without attempting a come back. He must be enjoying his snooker again after the seniors. He said his main reason for retiring in the first place was the fact he didn’t enjoy smaller venues/competitions. That must have changed. I also think ROS comments about the lack of quality lower down the ranks may have rang a bell for him, he might be coming out with the “I’m just enjoying it and seeing where it goes line” but at the end of the day he was one of the most ruthless and competitive players ever to play. He won’t be coming back just to make up the numbers, he must fancy his chances.
@glyntaylor-williams35934 жыл бұрын
If he's enjoying his snooker. That means he knows he's playing well. You don't enjoy being bad. A hendry playing well wins tournaments.
@amitjaiswar854 жыл бұрын
Well whatever may be the reason for Stephen Hendrys return but the snooker scenario will be much better with his presence. Stephen Hendry had a dry spell from 2004 to 2012 before he retired let’s hope he wins some this time round.

In my opinion Hendry is the the best all round, Ronnie is the most talented player I have ever seen and I'm forever grateful for him playing the sport but the way Hendry went about all his big matches and the fact he won 7 World Titles in a single decade makes him the greatest in my eyes. Best of luck to him in his return!
@michaeltrumph1214 жыл бұрын
_In my opinion Hendry is the the best all round_ That statement right there shows you're clueless about snooker and cue sports in general. The likes of O'Sullivan and Higgins are clearly far better all round players than Hendry. So are Davis and Selby. Hendry was never an all round player. He was a brilliant potter and breakbuilder, but his safety and tactical play were average at best. _the fact he won 7 World Titles in a single decade makes him the greatest in my eyes_ Or it might have something to do with him facing weak opposition. The mentally weak Jimmy White gifted Hendry 2 world titles, in 92 and 94. The fact that it was weak opposition is proven by the fact that Hendry could only win a single major title after the age of 27.
@xAlexHDx14 жыл бұрын
@@michaeltrumph121 Hendry lacked safety but that wasn't his objective, once he got an opportunity he went for it and used his excellent break building skills to full affect. Sure Higgins, O'Sullivan, Davis, Selby and Reardon are better tacticans but you are forgetting that Hendry suffered with the yips and his cue breaking after his 7th world title win which affected his game to the point he had to hang it up. If I had to choose which player to play a single frame of Snooker for my life it would be Hendry, Sure Jimmy didn't have the best bottle but he got the pressure piled on him with Hendry winning frame after frame. Thanks for calling me clueless at Snooker, gonna cry in the corner now haha.

Stephen was a machine. His mentality on flashy shots was probably something like "if you have to play flashy, it's probably because you ran out of position". He had a way of simplifying the frame into just, consistent potting and pure break building. It's not a surprise that his 'best of' reel is a little pedestrian visually, and more about trusting his potting and making it happen.

Granted there would be added pressure but it would be fun and using your table, I know that you have learned the pace of it. Anyway, I think you did amazing in your recreation shots! Keep up the great work on this awesome channel. As for Hendry; I think he wants the challenge and you know the money wouldnt hurt eh? I believe he would make Top 16 the first year back. What's your thoughts?
