Love these clips, it's not unlike my Uncles farm in Kildare, dare I even say that Stephen now has more and better appliances than my uncle. Time stands still and we have a lot to learn from the likes of Stephen and my Uncle.

Stephen died a year ago today (January 16th) I called up to the house today. His two jackets were still pegged to the line even after 12 months. Outside his house were three buckets of ashes from the fire. Two containers for birds which i bought him once, swung empty on a branch......everything was the same...

this was a simple poem read out in the eulogy at Stephen's funeral mass in Killavullen church... "I don't know what to say... Stephen has gone - suddenly. My Saturday's pilgrimage to his home began, But never finished. I can't believe it. For nine years I knew him. We were one in our simplicity, him and me. There are no more stories now, No more exchanges. We listened to the local deaths, On the radio at 10am. Now at 10, others will listen to yours. A gap has appeared. Where are you? You are not in the mountain any more." "

Yes he died in 2015. Sad. There are 3 little videos made of him. The last one shows where he is buried with his mother. He was unique man. I still hear stories about him. The locals recently erected a white cross at the point where he had the heart attack. God Bless him.
