This is probably going to sound a bit random, but I just felt the need to say thank you for opening your life to us, Sarah. Through here and obviously through your main channel, getting to know you and be a tiny part of your life has been wonderful. I was recently rewatching some of your old vlogs that made me fall in love with you, like that one where you talk about the comment you got offering you plastic surgery because you had a "seven year old boy and a sagging butt" lmao. The way you reacted to it was just so priceless... I just couldn't possibly picture my own life without you now, and that is probably so crazy sounding, but very true. Your gentle nature, the fact that you don't try to act like something you're not and that you're so open about your weak moments and your insecurities, your interests, your style and brain, your kindness and values... you're just the most likeable, endearing and relatable person I've ever come across on youtube and I randomly felt the need to say thank you just for existing, I guess. As for horror suggestions, still on the AHS seasons 1 and 2 review bandwagon. Another film that would probably result in a very entertaining review would be Drag Me To Hell, it's one of those movies that is so incredibly bad, it becomes good.

Congratulations on reading about 6% of his work, not knowing who Peter Straub is, not knowing what a novella is and totally butchering book synopses (Cell???). Many people have a hard time with Stephen's Magnus Opus, but I have never met anyone who started the series by reading Book 3 and then complaining about "not being my kind of storyline". Obviously you are entitled to your own opinion, but please be aware that many fans will get offended by your behavior. Please go and read "The Stand" for a start. The Dark Tower is REALLY worth reading, it brings together all of his writing, there are characters from some of his other works (The Insomnia, The Stand, or Salem's Lot) that appear there. Also Insomnia is the first time Crimson King is mentioned/appears (haven't read Insomnia yet, as of now I am new into Stephen King, currently reading Wizard and Glass and listening to Firestarter.) Pet Sematary is really good, need to re read it soon tbh (that is a case for all of Kings books though)

Lol you really need to read some of these books. Having read Carrie, Salem's Lot, The Shining, Rage, The Stand, The Long Walk, Firestarter, Cujo, The Running Man, The Dark Tower series, Christine, Pet Semetary, Thinner, It, Misery, The Tommyknockers, The Dark Half, Needful Things, Gerald's Game, Dolores Claiborne, Insomnia, Rose Madder, The Green Mile, Desperation, The Regulators, Bag of Bones, Dreamcatcher, Cell and most of the short story collections (not read much of his recent work) I can say that although I enjoyed most of his work some are better than others. He has a tendency to over indulge in some of his work, which ironically is one of the things he advocates avoiding in 'On Writing', proclaiming that some of the best advice he got was to trim his work down early in his career. However, as he got more famous and comfortable I feel this began slipping back in as he didn't have anyone to stop him. Now I know a lot of people love 'It' and 'The Stand' but to me they were unnecessarily bloated if still quite entertaining. To me his best work didn't drag on too long, I particularly enjoyed The Long Walk, Cujo, Pet Semetary and Misery. They were probably my four favourites. I didn't like 'The Dark Tower' series either but for some reason read the whole freaking collection! It got to the stage where I'd read so much of it I practically had to finish it otherwise it would have been a complete waste of time. It had it's moments but again, bloated, convoluted and incredibly self indulgent in parts (I almost stopped when he included himself as a character) and I could tell it was written at different stages of King's career which sucked me out of the story entirely. My favourite was the second book but I felt it went downhill from there. Anyway I've read a huge amount of his work so I must be a fan but I recognise his flaws as well which all writers have of course. You should read these books and find out which ones you love the most.

Me, I LOVE "Christine", the film is awesome for its soundtrack. First song of the film: "Bad To The Bone". That's just such a good song and it's a signature film for John Carpenter! I've also literally had to repair the cover with masking tape because I had read it THAT much! •"It" is good; intimidating by its size, but I liked it somewhat. Kind of lost itself to me, going from a bildungsroman and into a sci-fi epic; kind of starting out like "oh, this is REALLY good!" and going into "Will it never end?!" •"On Writing" is SO inspirational, especially to me, as a budding writer! I was up at my brother's wedding and the groom's wedding party went to a shopping mall; this was back during the days of Barnes & Noble and that book caught my eye on a shelf on discounted books! I was like "Ohh...I only brought maybe $20 with me". Hard to put down and I read it on the entire way home!

A few suggestions I wanted to make in case you're interested or if you haven't read them yet: "The long walk" (very good and disturbing), "Gerald's Game" which is one of the most disturbing ones King has written, "Needful things" (I know u said u started it a few times but definitely stick with it, it gets better as it goes along, and (the rest) of the "Dark Tower" series. You should definitely finish those if you get the chance. The 7th one is incredible. I've read the whole series 5 times already and it just blows me away each time. Hope this gives you few ideas.

There's a couple outdoorsy books/short stories that you may like: Penpal by Dan Autherbach (Released on Kindle but originally part of an online forum, really strange/weird things happening to a child so it's SK adjacent) The Ritual by Adam Neville (Sort of like The Descent but all guys, hike gone wrong and eventually some supernatural occurrences.) And although it's a manga, I know that a lot of people can read them a little easier than books because they're often short. Junji Ito is straight up horror, he's the creator of Tomie, Uzumaki, and Gyo. The images and story are both him and it's unreal in terms of gore. I would Google him and check the image search panel. About The Dark Tower series-you'll either like it or dislike it. Honestly, I'm on a slow part in Wizard and Glass and it's preventing me from picking it back up, but I've enjoyed reading them so far. It's different for everyone :) I'd recommend Desperation, Cycle of the Werewolf, The Mist, and Duma Key. These were more on the supernatural and horror side. Also, you might like Firestarter, but it's not really a supernatural type novel. *Might be a spoiler for Insomnia for other readers* I loved how Stephen put references of his other books in Insomnia, like Gage's shoe and the Crimson King. He ties his books together quite a lot in little ways, haha :)

My favorite Stephen King book is Different Seasons. Three of the novellas from that book have been made into movies including The Body which became "Stand By Me" in the 80s and is also one of my favorite movies. I loved this video! I love Stephen King, and I also have tonnes of old copies of his books because I got them all from my dad :) I've only read so far Carrie, The Shining, IT, Pet Sematary, Misery, The Green Mile, Needful Things, Hearts in Atlantis, and The Gunslinger. I'm not really sure if I'll continue with The Dark Tower series as I didn't enjoy The Gunslinger, and I didn't really like Hearts in Atlantis, but all the other ones are excellent, especially Misery and IT. My favourite of all-time has to be The Green Mile which I was surprised at considering it's not horror, but it just really got to me and I've never cried so much at a book in my life!
