Hi Ken and Ashley, good list. I love King. I have around 25 books by him. Some movies are great, some are just ok. Pet sematary (1989)is probably my favorite, christine, misery, it chapter one, the green mile, doctor sleep, carrie (both 1976 and 2013) even silver bullet, cujo and 1408. I was surprise by ken #1 "sometimes they come back" its not that popular, but its a good movie I dont like kubrik's the shinning, good cast but very bad adaptation for me. People praise this movie so much but i respect that. Its only way to different. I would like a joyland, the long walk, rose madder movie. I also really like "Blaze" a richard bachman (king) book. Keep talking horror.

Great lists! I seem to like most Stephen King adaptations, so my list would be long. Needful Things, Sleepwalkers, The Dark Half, The Stand, Firestarter (1984)…. I could go on and on. Growing up my parents were super strict about what movies I was allowed to watch but books were okay. I was reading Stephen King before I was 10. 🤭 My brain had to be my movie LOL. Maybe I love so many movies because I had to wait so long to see them. 😂

The Boogie man short movie is bad,but the short story scared the shit out of me as a kid. Definitely worth a read.

I give Stephen King credit for coming up with the ideas, but compared to the movies. Nearly every film on your list, I enjoy more than his writing. 🤷‍♂ Not horror movies, but still King adaptations. Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. Yep. Enjoyed the movies more too, lol. He's a good writer and deserving of his iconic status, just not one of my favorites. Sometimes they never come back is, a really great movie. I remember the main character was struggling with PTSD. I appreciate the mental health aspects. I hear you on a remake could be worth making... because the sequel or whatever it was....yikes.
