I was born around the same time as Stephen. It was a disturbing time because the police made major mistakes in the investigation. I'm from Irish descent and my parents had been discriminated against, especially in the 1970s. My heart goes out to his family. It was a senseless murder of a man who had so much potential. Stephen's mother Doreen, Baroness Lawrence of Clarendon, is such a dignified woman and I'm sure campaigning gave her the strength to go on. How does she live each day, knowing her son is gone, and the other members of the murderous gang are still free men? She has made her agony a source of power. RIP Stephen Lawrence.
