Very underrated band. Very original songs. At the time I heard them in 88. I was blown away. Love at first listen didn’t have to grow on me. They were like the Sex Pistols and zeppelin had a baby

All the covers I've seen are missing the bounce in his groove.

I keep coming back to this video. It just blows my mind. Euphoric and incredible drumming. I'm sure he has 6 other invisible arms we can't see here.

In the early 90's S. Perkings was the best rock drummer...inovative psidodelic from rock base

A very solid grooving tune and one that was really fun to cover on drums. Good to see it played here by the original drummer.

Sick. Still had it then and prob will always have it. Right up there with the Pro TV Master performance from 1990 (also on YT)

Mo Bettabud Not taking anything away from your statement, but he does have the track in his ear. Only 14k views. At one time he was the drummer for one of the biggest bands in the world. He does sound great..No mics, no sound man, and had to use one of those crappily tuned GC kits

A unique and talented drummer. Might sound lame to someone only interested in double bass death metal. But this is ALSO talent.....

Perkins has always been the funkiest rock drummer out there. The mojo at the core of Caught Stealing lies in his 3 and 3& beat displacements, though there are a few bars here on 4 and 4&, but mostly he plays the downbeats on 2, 3, 3& and 4 (half the 8th notes in the measure! lol).
