I like that Wonderboy is serious about fighting in a street fight. Fight dirty. In a street fight, there are no reals, don't be nice about it. You don't know what your opponent will do or if they have allies. Some guys like to act like they're the shit and they'll just do this and that, but a street fight is not an official mma or boxing match. Best rule of course is to run away, but if that's not an option, fight dirty as fuck. To hell what anyone thinks about it, it's your health and maybe life on the line, not the spectators.
@alexferrana39793 жыл бұрын
Yeah. And don't believe in so-called "code of honour" in a street fighting. Most street fights are rude, harsh and brutal, with dirty and gross attacks like curb-stomp, groin kick, biting, kicking someone's head after he or she was taken down and using of improvised weaponry.
@2kmichaeljordan4383 жыл бұрын
@@alexferrana3979 did you really say there’s kicks in street fights? Lmfao they’re either gonna box you or stab you, street fighters are too stupid to practice kickboxing

@@2kmichaeljordan438 kicks can be diffirent - low kicks in shins or knee into the groin, for example. Technique is poor, but as a surprising strike could work. High kicks in street fighting are rare thing, especially if the street fighter aren't good in flexibility and etc. That's why so called "great roundhouse kick a-la Chuck Norris" are "effective" on the streets only against surprised opponent with a bad reaction and only if circumstances allows it.

That is a legit kung fu technique, receiving the attack. It takes the attacks energy, and redirects some of it, dampening the power behind it. It is a soft skill. Like many martial arts techniques, similar to aikido theory, the use of these skills cannot be shown in the MMA world, because they are designed to either be used to combat similar styles from their country, or are designed to be too damaging (as in most of aikido locks and throws, that will break the joints if used either incorrectly, or if an intentionally forced break). But, this is only my opinion, everyone has one.

That's why krav maga doesn't used in MMA. Because it's not about competition, it's about survival, self-defense and street fighting against multiple or armed opponents. And this martial art even allows sometimes use a lethal force if it's necessary. And used by Israeli police and military.

That's how real badasses act, in my experience. The guys who strut around acting like they think they're bad and bullying people and stuff like that usually ain't $#!÷ when push comes to shove... This guy is cool. I also think that's why he was like "I can't see GSP as a bad guy," because he probably knows GSP is also a really nice chill guy in real life outside of the octagon. I found that bit funny, though, cuz I think GSP has a great look for a bad guy, he's got that mean mug down 😤😆 and that murderous grin was great. This is also why I love guys like John Cena and Dave Bautista. Giant badass (probably, don't know if they can fight for real, but they're huge...) dudes that are total sweethearts. Good stuff.

Héctor Echavarría (the guy taking Anderson Silva's strikes): martial artist from Argentina. He learnt several disciplines such as karate, kung fu, judo and taekwondo. Started competing at 14 years old mainly as a kickboxer. He later moved to USA and started participating in movies or series playing small roles since the late 80s. He also took part on a few argentine comedies, although he never became a star here or something, always kept a low profile. He lives in California and makes movies mainly for latin audiences but he also collaborates with other productions on and off camera.

Well... When he started aikido in movies was new and fresh so it made him very distinctive and he also wasn't producing/directing his own stuff back then so he had somebody who is actually competent at making movies standing over him making all the decisions (and checking his ego). Obviously he was never a real actor but his early stuff wasn't the kind of direct-to-DVD shit he is putting out today.

as a doctor and martial artist, i can tell you it is possible to make someone " passs out" from a body shot, but not the same type of passing out as a jaw shot or a choke, those two: 1. works on shaking the brain causing trauma to it and shutting it down for a moment, the other either from stopping the flow of oxigen ( that one takes longer ) or stopping the flow of blood ( that one is 5 to 10 seconds ), but body blows lets say the most popular " you would fall because iam powerfull" thing that every boxer loves is the liver blow, the one works on pain receptors, the liver is actually covered in your ribs, but one part the lower part can be 1-2 cm below the ribsif you strike hard and precise the shock travles and the pain receptor of the mmm "membrane" of the liver are screeaaming to stop so you pass out, it can also cause the liver to rupture or a traumatic hepatitis, or another case is the pancreas it can cause pancreatitis but it would have to be a really reallly good blow, the trauma causes enzime liberation and bum pancreatitis but what would make them "pass out" is the pain receptors in the membrane that cover the organs plus the damage ( enzime liberation, blood loss etc ) , many body blows work like that, thats why they can pass out but not necesarily, since muscles do absorb the wave of the blow for most part, that why they are there. thank you for your atention.

I'll never forget the naivete of my first fight in high school. Some dude named Russell, waited for me to come in with a straight-on punch to his face. He ducked, I missed, he countered with knuckles to my throat and windpipe. That one knuckle punch ended me for about a minute while I was struggling to breathe thru my collapsed windpipe. Thank the Lord he didn't come in with more punches because I was as helpless as an upside down turtle. Protect the vitals at all costs!

In the first clip, when GSP was fighting Captain America he was playing a character called Georges Batroc who is known as Batroc the leaper in the comics, he has no superhuman abilities, but is in peak physical condition in every respect. He is an Olympic-level weightlifter and has extraordinary agility and reflexes. His leg muscles are particularly well developed, enabling him to leap great distances equal to an Olympic athlete, so that explains the flying kick & why a stunt double was needed for certain parts.
