I watched a video from one of his friends, who I believe is a counselor and mental health advocate... she made several points regarding the argument 1) if the goal is to help others does this mitigate the trauma inflicted on his family particularly his mom, especially if she was unaware and learned of his abuse through an interview...in my philosophy class we would say does the end justify the means; she said more through a mental health lens but the bottom line is there were ways to help others without throwing him under the bus

According to the medical examiner, he was TOTALLY clean and sober at the time of his passing. So there's that. I'm ANGRY AF about what she did. For some context, my father took his own life when I was 11, a CHILD. It was big news in the tiny village I live in. It was fodder for the gossips in town. My own Mom started telling me things about my Dad that served no purpose in me knowing, things that hurt me. My dad wasn't there to answer questions or tell his side of the story. My Dad was dead and that was all I knew. His children are the ones who will suffer the most from all of this. Those children have lost the most here and what Allison is doing will hurt them and she's not seeing that at all. Maybe it just hits me differently because of my own experience but I know what it feels like to be those children on a tiny scale. They've got the entire world looking at them. I can understand the daughter trying to defend her Mom. I just wish she placed a great deal of thought into what she wanted to say and share because now she is fumbling over words and statements, adding more insinuation into the mix, of an already complicated and heartbreaking story. I knew in my spirit something was up but when I asked him, he would have some logical answer. With the helium tank, I asked him what he was going to do with it and he stated that his friend requested it for the kids birthday so they can quickly fill the room with balloons. He was always doing stuff like that so I thought nothing of it. Then he told me that he didn't want to lose me after an argument and I told him I'm always here with him. He kept repeating it and I told him we would get through our little disagreement. I felt his body and it was cold the day of and when I tried to warm him, he told me no. I thought it was weird but respected his words. In my spirit something wasn't right but I couldn't put my finger on it.
