I learn as much as I can on Akro, Peltier, Christensen, Vitro & German (others also but too many to list lol) made marbles but love to learn about all marbles! Funny how not long ago when I attempted to purchase an Akro Limeade from someone on Facebook, she thinks I'm ripping her off for only wanting it for 20 buckaroos. Now this video has got it solidly covered!

Thanks Sanyo! I’m not aware of any current values for Davis marbles. They are very hard to find, but I don’t think a ton of people go for them so I could guess that some of the better ones can get up to $20 or $30. The plain ones maybe $5 each , it’s just a wild guess on my part though.

Block has aged just a bit since I last saw him. I bought so many marbles from him 20 years ago online. I didn;t know he was still doing auctions. At one point he had stopped doing them. I look at prices on Ebay for marbles and prices are alot cheaper. So I've just sat on mine. But, I just may contact Bob to auction all my marbles.

I have a lot of nice Marbles my mother left me. She always talked about when she was young playing marbles. I am 52 now. I was always like. I feel sorry for you lol. Now they are mine. How do I find their worth. Should I sell them as a bunch or single? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Michelle, some of the fancier ones should probably be picked out and sold as single lots. The more common ones could be rounded up into groups. You could try EBay if you have an account there, or at a local flea market, Facebook marketplace or facebook marbles sales pages…or even Blocks Marble Auctions. There’s lots of ways you could go .

Where would I go to identify the manufacturer of a collection of marbles I bought at an estate sale? I have a Mason jar full and I know very little about marble collecting. Reddit has not been very helpful, though I did ascertain that they're mostly "cat's eye" type(?) I want to sell them on eBay but I don't want to (a) rip anyone off or (b) sell them too cheaply. Or (c) look like an idiot, for that matter. 😂 Help!

I have bought thousands of machine made vintage marbles over the last 33 years. I have never paid the crazy prices that the "experts" value them at. Save yourself some money and hit rural estate auctions, you can get great deals on a whole container of marbles for pennies per unit.
