Last time I camped in this spot in the Mourne Mountains, a fox snuck in during the night and stole my expensive frying pan. Today I'm back hoping for revenge

As someone who is really struggling to get along with traditional air filled pillows.... that hybrid looks very interesting. As for things that go "munch" in the night... whilst camping on the WHW last month I discovered a sizeable hole in my groundsheet with lots of little teeth marks and tiny little poos. Thankfully it happened at the end of my trip. Lesson learnt, don't pitch a tent next to bushes on cold nights.

07:50 you need to clarify garlic toxicity, which is classed as "sub clinical". This means that it isn't dangerous to canids in the short term, but if you feed your dog garlic foods regularly over their lifetime, you risk causing health problems as they get older. So, no one should get the idea that it's ok so long as they don't ear 40 cloves all at once. It can still harm them.

Honestly, I used it often, especially over the Causeway Coast way hike (3 days walking) and it beats, hands down, a rain jacket! You know the craic, sweaty betty!!!! lol You just can't avoid it, especially with a bit of weight on your back. It's hands down, brilliant so long as "it's not windy" - as you stated. Here in the eastern US food boxes are placed around hiker shelters. And along the Appalachian Trail it is expected that you will hang a food bag from a tree, at least 12 ft. high and on a limb overhanging at least 8 ft. or so from the trunk of the tree. Otherwise an animal will take it, either a raccoon, opossum, bear, deer, mice or ........ You get the point.
