The fleet , the everchanging ever evolving entity, unique to Star Citizen. In this video we discuss some of the reasons of the ships chosen and what they bring to the table in future gameply. Built with versatiltiy and flexability in mind im hoping this could be very close to my final itteration before the 1.0 Launch. BUT what do you guys think? What does your fleet consist of? As always let me know down below!!

Hi, I like listening to your rationales, it gives me a good benchmark to mine - Quick question, aren’t you disturbed by the speed of the TAC? Don’t you think that it’s gonna impact its abilities in combat?
@PIN-o74 күн бұрын
@LT_Dante I don't think the speed will be a problem as of yet. However it's hard to know because we need the dust to settle with all large tweaks currently being placed upon ships. Plus it does have the snub as a backup.
@LT_Dante4 күн бұрын
@@PIN-o7 That's my feeling too. On paper the TAC feels like the perfect multifunction combat vessel. She can do space combat, patrolling, ground assault and bunker running. But in space she feels mostly like a defensive ship, she's too slow to attack.

Lols, I was torn between the Starlancer and the Paladin also! And you have a very good point in getting the Starlancer as an economic buy (namely, as a jumping point to a Galaxy or Endeavor), but every time I came back to the Paladin her looks put a big smile on my face - and the reptilian part of my brain added to that by saying "oooh, I can have a lot of fun with that" Sooo here I am, broke and cruising the 'verse in my Redeemer :P

I really want to see an Atlas sized ground vehicle that can set up a single shop, so we can organize popup bazaars. Think food truck but anything people want to sell. You could use the Spartan as a base with a 16? scu container grid in the back and a side that opens up with shop access.

I held on to the 25 dollar ccu to the polaris. and testing it out as a loaner. I honestly think polaris is great. love how I can open the hangar door and loot bounties. I hated the ramp at the beginning because how difficult it is for parking on planetside. but hovering and in space looting. it is really good. I didnt know I would like the hanger that much. I think that the iron clad would be a game changer for bounty hunter's. it's going to swallow a small ship inside for the vulture to eat.

Well kinda doubt it'll remain so, 1.0 is between 3/6 yrs away, CIG wont release 1.0 until after SQ42, as SQ42 has got to have enough to bring them back. No, is all it takes is a patch, or a new ship to throw a spanner in the works, and 7 of your ships are in Concept or Development. As i type, there has been a major Weapon/Component rebalance, with many choking on thier kebab. Nice fleet......Be Strong!

@PIN-o7 alrighty. Its alot mind you, but all but 6 if the ships come from recruitment rewards that have been CCUd at heavy discounts. Of the 6 not from rewards, 4 are in a Connie Phoenix Emerald pack (Connie Phoenix Emerald, Ursa Fortuna, P-72 Emerald, and Zeus MR), and the final 2 (Scorpius and E1 Spirit) i just refuse to give up, and are also CCUd at heavy discounts. 1- Polaris - my flagship and right now my mobile home base and pocket carrier. She fits my C8R, Fury LX, and Scorpius with toom to spare in the hangar, and then i can fill the cargo deck with Arrows and more Furies for low fly or just going around! Also currently the largest cargo ship that can land on planets ;) 2- Merchantman - my endgame retirement. One day my character will have achieved all their goals, and settle down permanently as a rare goods trader aboard the most oppulant merchentile vessel in the game 3- Galaxy - the single most useful modular ship in the game. The most versatile medical ship designed so far, a good hauler with excellent loading cranes, a double refinery, a confirmed manufacturer, AND a doubly confirmed base builder. I mainly have it as it was said to be the smallest Builder capable of creating Large Structures. Unless its smaller than the Starlancer BLD i doubt that is true anymore, but it looks to have MUCH more material capacity than the Starlancer, so im still happy. 4- Endeavor - probrably going to be the largest and most complex modular ship in the game, and even if Science gameplay doesnt work out how i wish, it will make an excellent hospital, explorer, and space farm 5- Crucible - a necessary addition to any fleet that has at least one Capital ship as far as i am concerned. Every fleet needs propper Rearm and Repair, and every fleet with XL and Capital ships needs the one meant to repair Idris 6- Arrastra - dedicated large industry ship capable of defending itself for org play, the money maker. All in one miner, refiner, cargo carrier, and ground miner deployment carrier. 7- Liberator - probrably will be my most flown ship given my propensity for low flying in the PTU. This will be my mobile refuel and repair station for when im racing or low flying. My pit stop. Also will be useful for carting myself and friends smaller ships around the larger systems and aiding in fleet support 8- Connie Phoenix Emerald - my favorite variant of my favorite large multicrew daily driver 9- Valkyrie - became my FAVORITE daily driver. Period. Love it so much. Wish it had a medical variant that replaced dropseats with some tier 2 or 3 med beds, but its just so good 10- MSR (to be replaced with Paladin if it releases without significant nerfs) - really want this to be a Paladin, which is essentially a double thick double armed Scorpius, but if not i have many reasons to love the Millenium Falcon 11- Zeus MkII MR (to be replaced by the ST should it actualize) - multicrew focussed, solo capable, specialist daily driver 12- E1 Spirit - my favorite variant of my favorite solo medium daily driver 13- Gaurdian (QED if it retains the 2 s5 weapons and interior, otherwise base model) 14- Scorpius - maybe my favorite ship in the whole game to fly, if i only kept one ship and sold all the rest somehow, it would be this 15- Glaive - until the guardian, this was my favorite single seater heavy fighter in concept (meant to melt capital armor) and in practice (used to one hit k.o. almost every LRT) 16- F8C Lightning - "free" consierge reward 17- F8C Lightning Executive - "free" consierge reward 18- Super Hornet Heartseeker MkI - dont have an excuse, just like it 19- Super Hotnet Heartseeker MkII - cant have just a MkI can i? 20- Mustang Omega - AMD special edition fame package RARE collectable 21- C8R Pisces - medical snub for use in Galaxy, Polaris, Endeavor, and BMM 22- Fury LX (w/ serial number) - rare little racer, will pribrably sell, but maybe not, lots of fun 23- P-72 Emerald - Emerald Collectable 24- Ursa Rover Fortuna - Emerald Collectable 25- PTV - free reward There we go. Thats my planned fleet. Pretty dang close to finalized with very little room for changes now. Besides, im done recruiting so i have no more free LTI tokens to build off of goingg forward XD

Great fleet you made, always thinking bigger. AIE makes me sick, theoretical im living in 2037 and i dont want to regret my L I F E T I M E insurance. The ROC-DS is gonna have a rework, maybe a remote mine-turret, I figure i'll get the F7A mk2 after SQ42 with LI, F8c might get a upgrade possible to apply aswell just like the F7. 300 bucks for 10 months insurance wasn't a good deal for me except beeing OP till 1.0. Wanted the Odd-Issi aswell but i think i don't want to dwel too long in uncharted space (this might change), Arrastra a want maybe a need down the line. coudn't melt The Carrack, upgraded my 600i to a intergalactic shoe-box Liberator. And went for a 400i for zipping around 3 systems down. Needed the Palladin, if i could give it a name it would be Bigboi. Perseus would fit in a fleet composition but on it's own.. Got a Warden, SL Max and a C2 (M2 would be the better "spaceframe" with 2 size 3 shield module sockets), but the c2 might be lighter, faster. o7

@axelmousti58123 күн бұрын
Actualy my opinion is to find a fighter that suits our liking, then we have our fighter. Now if you want to specialise into security look for anti large, look for IEM warfare, look for hacking, look for QED, if you have your dogfighter you don't want others because your ingame level will be the higher with the ship you fly the most. On my opinion the f8 is too slow, im way better with a hornet unless i go against a connie and there i would be way better with an ares an eclipse or a guardian. If I'm looking for an anti large I'm not looking at the f8, if I look for a dog fighter im not looking at the f8, if i look for a long-range fighter Im not looking at the f8, if I'm looking for a wingman ship I'm not looking at the f8, even if i'm looking for a jack of all trades im not looking at the f8. For every f8 you carry you could have 2x hornets, if we encounter and you ask me to carry your f8 from point a to point b you will likely pay 2 places. The f8 is a civilianized ship, and for it's size, you can have 2x hornet with military hardpoints military armor and military componants. The f8 have a great sexapeal, but how will it feels to cross path with an NPC in a military version of it ? IDK I'm not at the fashion week but if I was I would chose the f8, sure thing.

I ended up going with the Orion. I figure anyone would be willing to help me crew it. As far as logistics, I’d have to transfer all my cargo to a space station. Maybe they’ll go the hull C unloading style. Alternatively I could pair up with an org to haul my stuff for a cut of the profits. Or give the goods away for free and ask for donations. It might help me not die to pirates. I’ll have to see what the upkeep costs are though.

I think it is *hilarious* that you think you will be skipping the grind. The real game will be crafting. Getting your ships to tier 5, with tier 3 components, with the custom transferable warranties to match the custom loadouts will *be* the game. Starting with the LTI on your fleet is a great way to begin that journey. But keep in mind that *all* MMO's are grind by definition. Another way to describe that is "activity while playing the game *will* be rewarded". The key is to *only* participate in gameplay loops that you enjoy, and use the proceeds from those to fund skipping the loops that *feel* like a grind to you. That is the beauty of the system CIG is lifting whole cloth from SWG. Player driven is "you do what you love, and others do what they love, and trading between each other fills in the gaps".
@PIN-o78 күн бұрын
The grind I'm referring to, is the grind of accumulating the funds to buy new ships. Not the profession itself.
@corwyncorey37038 күн бұрын
@@PIN-o7 True... but that is a *lot* of t1 ships you will be working towards getting schematics for the t5 chassis and t3 components to fill out, plus the warranties and insurance. Although if you are ok running most of them at t1, and using them for their role specific tasks "for free" as it were, that is a huge leap forward in your options. That's the nice thing about LTI... sure, it isn't custom, but you get the default for free, forever. Less upkeep. You'll have enough upkeep once the NPC's expansion pack drops :D
