I'm so pleased that I discovered your channel. I've experimented with detailed drawings but the final product tended to be rather static/stilted. I suspect that I will put some of your ideas/techniques to good use.

Oh Day 3, in the wee hours. For some reason I cut off the top of the pic, so next time, I’ll peek at the video first. So I had the problem of trying the draw lines which are too long…and so my monument tapers at the top. I found this pic much more difficult because I saw so many vertical lines! Getting the hang of thinner lines with a gel pen. I do have fineliners too but I’m using the gel pen for drawing heads as well. Did some shading with the grey. Stopped at 15 minutes.
