After percieving you for a couple of years but declining your models... now I have to say: YOU ARE GREAT 👍🏻🌼 I am knitting for decades and experiencing so many new techniques in the last months by viewing a lot of knittng podcasts here on YT. For instance the yarn weaving in method. This is a really break-through cause I'm hating to sew in all the ends when making colour-work. By this time you are one of my "heroes". Thank you so much 🙏🏻💗 BTW: your explanations are absolutely superp. Nothing left to ask for. Sorry for my poor English. ✨✨✨

I've started a shlanket. Doing big honeycomb pattern with substantial yet squishy and fluffy merino. As it works long edge to small rather than getting larger this is going to keep my motivation up given each line will get faster to finish. I just finished the first line of honeycombs and although just a first date with this shawl I've fallen in love with it.

Greetings to you from sunny Namibia (southern Africa). You were recommended to me by my neighbor who saw a Deutsche Welle (DW) documentary on you knitting. And then I was hooked (or should I say strung). I am a very experienced knitter and wrote down the pattern from the instructions above. Looked at this and summised I probably need an engineering / combo architectual degree ... to complete this. Not so, I shall be master of this mountain! And I am climbing that mountain which turns out to be a small hill. Also downloaded this pattern from Ravely. Thank you Stephen, keep going, you are doing extraordinary beautiful patterns. They are exceptional and wonderful to knit. One of the best thing that could happen to us in pandemic times, sharing these artworks on KZbin. Keep going please and stay safe in your part of the world in such troubling times, where we can at least enjoy your patterns to stay with our butts at home and not go insane, as winter is approaching with us here in our part of the world, and we desperately need to stay warm and safe. Thanks a million. Much appreciated and keep safe. With much love from Windhoek, Namibia.
