Hello again! Thought I'd give an update :) Highly likely the latest that they will be back on screen will be Wednesday 15th November (Crossing my fingers for the 13th though) SPOILER (just incase some don't wish to know) Kate will kiss Rana on that date and it will be reciprocated. Corrie release episode clips usually on Friday evenings UK time. Check the website after 9pm GMT. I doubt they will spoil the kiss like that though but I'm sure Kate, Rana or both will feature in one of the clips on Friday. Hope this helps :)

Hey everyone! I've had half a dozen comments about when we'll see Kate and Rana again, and the truth is I can't tell you. Even separately I don't know for sure. We're all trying to wait patiently, as much as we can anyway cause it could be a few more weeks yet to see them in a scene together. I'm really sorry I can't give you anything concrete but trust me, I'm in the same boat. Just remember there is good stuff to come.

I agree, I think this relationship was pushed a little far forward, I'm for the two though, I would've like to have seen a little more on Kate's part beforehand but what the hey, we will get what we get a lot of angst, indecision and jealousy, can't wait!

Debbie Verret Exactly, it was pushed. This scene should be happening in a few weeks time after we've had some more interaction with the pair. The thing is, before 'the Imogen', Kate didn't feel anything romantically for Rana. You could say the same about Rana for Kate, and Kate getting with Imogen made her think hang on weird feelings? Lol. But definitely, Kate didn't feel romantically towards her, and since Imogen, all she's felt for Kate is annoyance and anger, so how, after finding out why Rana was how she was, has Kate not only gone back to being okay(ish) but she feels the same way? I don't see it. Unless they're trying to make it equally as out of the blue for her as they did for Rana? Imogen was Rana's trigger, and just the idea of knowing how Rana feels has been Kate's. I'd have liked a much slower build before this miraculous realisation was mentioned, but thinking about it, Kate knows how Rana feels, and she's told her to leave her alone, so it's not like they can just happily go back to being friends and that's when Kate realises. Both of their hands have been forced a bit :( aaand that was a long post, soz

I agree with you! They're friends who've developed romantic feelings for each other but the spark, chemistry or whatever you want to call it between Kate and Rana has always been there. Rana wasn't "an option" for Kate but there was always some flirty/playful stuff going on that hinted at something more than just platonic feelings. Also, in a previous ep when Zee is kinda freaked out and telling Kate about him and Rana trying for a family, he says that -before then- Rana was all about travelling, being young and having fun, and Kate goes "You just described my perfect life". Kate and Rana have way more in common with each other than either of them with anyone else.

I was rewatching their earlier scenes, and when Rana, Kate, and Alya went to that lesbian club together and Kate saw Rana smoothly flirting with all the girls, she said "what a waste", suggesting that it was a shame Rana wasn't gay. I think the attraction was always there for Kate, she just downplayed it because of the circumstances and didn't try to act on it. I get why it seems so sudden, though.

Just a heads up stephkt and others, Radio Times have just released a clip of Kate and Rana. I'm so totally for the two and personally felt #teamrana but I have to say in this clip Kate is spot on, really good acting.
