There's definitely some similarities in terms of their build and defensive ability, but Jimmy is more athletic and plays at a faster pace than Castle does. Neither could shoot the 3 in college so hopefully Castle develops into a plus shooter like Jimmy has, but that will likely take some time as Castle is nowhere close to being a good outside shooter right now.

@@bballer191 Castle is definitely the more explosive athlete especially at this age lol Jimmy played 3 years in college, Castle is much better than he was at this stage. Jimmy is like a 32% career 3pt shooter on less than 3 attempts per game. Lol Castle will more than likely develop a more consistent shot. Obviously it’s all projections since he hasn’t played in the league, but he has higher upside than Jimmy coming out without a doubt.

Some guys are high flyers, other guys are finesse players, other guys are silky shooters-Castle is just a beast from a physicality standpoint, beating and backing guys down to get to his spots with patience and tenacity. He’ll explode for some physical plays but it’s that patience to get to his spots and his willingness to mix it up for offensive rebounds and put backs shows me why he’s going to be very successful in the NBA. Already plays like a vet, has that calmness to him. Castle will get to the foul line a lot too and become borderline invaluable in clutch situations when the game is on the line-on both sides of the ball. The put back layup there to go up 1, forcing a miss against some team’s best wing scorer on a last shot in a final possession to seal a win. That’s what Castle’s going to bring to the Spurs in the NBA-a winner who can help them get back to their dynastic ways.
